When Will I Grow Taller

Will I Grow Taller Than My Dad?

Most guys outgrow their Dad but some don't. You will probably peak at 5'6+ at 18+.

To grow taller plenty of protein, calcium, vitamin D and zinc all help.

To reach your potential height you need adequate sleep (from 8-10 hours per night), adequate calories and a normal healthy diet.

Plenty of protein from eggs, meat, poultry, sea food and dairy products helps as well as calcium from milk, cheese and other dairy products. You also need plenty of zinc from red meat, oysters, mussels, nuts and seeds and zinc fortified cereals such as Weetbix. Vitamin D3 via the Sun also helps.

Girls usually stop growing at 15 and in most cases any further height growth from 15-21 is insignificant but there are exceptions such as late bloomers.

Guys usually stop growing at 18 and in most cases any further height growth from 18-25 is insignificant but there are exceptions such as late bloomers.

Under eating and under sleeping can, to some extent, stunt your height growth. Exercise does not help your height growth and smoking can actually reduce your potential height by a whole inch. Too much junk sugar can reduce your HGH level.

You can see further tips in a web search for "how to grow taller naturally".

Will i grow taller?

Girls usually grow until age 18. I grew 4 inches just within one year and I didn't reach my full height until age 19. Now I'm 6' or 183 cm and I'm female.

Make sure that you are eating fresh foods and getting plenty of protein and calcium. Also, exercise every day and avoid stimulants like caffeine to reach your full potential. Also, be aware that birth control pills/patches/rings or heavy soy intake can stunt your growth.

Do you have pains or aches in your calves? These are called growing pains and I had them around every growth spurt.

One last thing. I know that you say you want to be a runway model. However, if you starve yourself to stay thin you will stunt your growth. You need to grow tall first. Stay a healthy weight right now. After you are 170 cm you can worry about getting thin if that's the route you want to take.

Will I grow taller? How can i tell?

Hey everyone, im hell confused atm. Im turning 18 in a few month right, and im 180cm tall.
which is about 5"11' (180 cm = 5.90544 ft (decimal) = 5' - 10 9/10" (feet, inches and tenths-of-an-inch) ), for those who didnt know.

So i am wondering how much taller can i expect to grow? I have an arm span of 192 cm (192 cm = 6.299136 ft (decimal) = 6' - 3 6/10" ) finger tip, to finger tip. Now i havent grown for probs say 2-3yrs now, and i am wondering if i have stopped growing? But i have been told guys dont stop growing until they 24, and that boys dont have a continues growth pattern like girls, guys stop growing and then randomly start agen?? So how can i tell if i have any growth spurts left? is there a way to tell??

Im 16 male will i grow taller?

ok, im 16 and im only 5 ft 5. my moms side family is pretty tall on the womens side. my mom is 5 ft 4 and my dads side is pretty short, he is 5 ft 7. I started exercising a month ago, running in the morning everyday, everyday havent skipped a day at all, would that hurt my growth? should I rest? I do pushups and situps every other day. i stretch on pullup bars every day and i went on a healthy food diet last month. and please dont say its genetics, ive heart plenty of that because 20% of your growth relies on your environment and your daily habit. are there any personal experiences of growing tall after 16? ive never had an actual growth spurt where I grew 4 inches at a time, i grew constantly at an extremely slow speed. in 2 years i only grew 6 inches. also, will this matter if i dont have much armpit hair? like from 8 ft away you cant tell i have hair but up close i have like 20 but not noticeable. does that mean i still have a lot to go? thank you for your answer :)

I'm a 14 years old boy and I am 159cm. When will I grow taller?

Age won’t help predict height. It greatly depends on your parents heights, and when you began puberty. If your parents are short, you’ll almost definitely be short (unless you have a tall grandfather or great grandfather in your fathers family). The complete opposite for having tall parents. Most males begin puberty at age 12, and have a growth spurt at this time. It typically lasts for two years, and 3.0 inches is gained per year over those two years. That’s a total of 6.0 inches for an average male during his puberty growth spurt. If you’ve had this already at that specific time, then so far, you’re an average male. This means you’d grow until age 18 like an average male, and grow at 2.0 inches per year up until age 17, and then 1.0 inches from 17 - 18. This means you’d end up at 5′9″, and maybe 5′10″ if you get that lucky extra inch. 5′9.5″ is the average height of a fully grown US male, and 5′9.8″ - 5′10″ is the average height of a fully grown UK male.If you began puberty early (early bloomers typically start puberty around ages 9 - 10), then you’d likely grow for just 3 - 5 years after beginning puberty compared to the average 6 years. Early bloomers develop earlier, and quicker, therefore, they require less time to achieve their expected adult height. In this case, you’d grow for an average of 4 years (that’s the average of 3 - 5 years) after starting puberty. This means your final adult height would be 5′2″ (your current height) or 5′3″. Growth dramatically decreases to about 1.0 inches per year in the last year of growth for height finalization. If you began puberty late (late bloomers typically start puberty around ages 14+), then you’d grow for 7 - 9 years. This is because late bloomers grow later, develop slower, and have growth spurts in their late teens, or when they achieve age 18 (adult age). However, they can still end up having growth spurts in their early twenties. You’d grow for an average of 8 years if this is the case, so this means you’d stop growing at about age 21 - 22. Up until then, you’d likely have one growth spurt, and then grow at childhood growth rate. 3.0 inches per year for two years, then childhood growth rate for 5 years (the rate of growth before puberty. Typically 2.0 inches per year), and then 1.0 inches in the last year of growth. This would put you at around 6′6″ - 6′7″. I’d say this is unlikely for you, and if you are a late bloomer, you’d be a fast developing one.

I'm 17 and still 5'6". Can I grow taller?

you can grow yes, but u didnt say if u were a girl or boy, if boy.. then u have plenty of time. doesnt matter if ur parents are short. you will still grow as long as you have a healthy diet.

Will I grow taller since i'm 17 years old?

I'm 17 and 5'10 without shoes. I want to be a little bit taller but i'm worried I won't grow any taller. I eat healthy, workout, play tennis competitively and road bike. I'm asian so I shouldn't be growing that all but i'm from the west side of asia and my grandpas are 6'0 and 6'4. my parents are only 5'3-5'5. Is there any way I can grow taller? and do you think i will grow taller?
