When Will My Jacket Get Here

How do I get pen stains out of my jacket? It's white.?

As the other person said, you could try bleach if it is a white-white.

SPRAY-N-WASH is awesome. Try that first. Apply it to the area as directed and wash it in hot water if the fabric label allows.

I have been using Spray-N-Wash for years to get mud out of my son's white baseball pants. It works wonders.

Good luck~

How to hint to a guy you like for his jacket?

the reason i dont bring my own jacket is because we have strict dress codes and we wear uniforms so my jackets dont meet the dress code because they have writing and logos on them and they have to be plain jackets with no logos and no writing on them and his is a school sports team jacket and you can wear ones that are our school sports teams.

How much leather needed to make a jacket?

Q: How much leather [is] needed to make a jacket? As others mentioned, style, size and type of hide all matter. If the jacket is long, it’ll obviously take more. A traditional working western jacket for men might take 35 sq feet provided the hide is cow. Here is a photo of a jacket we used to make, style 11150 (worn by a woman):If you cut this from pig, it could take 40 sqft because the hides are smaller. If cut from lamb (real lamb, not “lamb”), it could easily be 50. Deerskin could be close to the same depending on how the hide was harvested but elk would be a little better, maybe 45 sqft.Another example; this woman’s jacket, style 21245, size M (now a small) would take about 20 sqft if cut in cow. If pig, it might take 22 or so (this is what we used). If you used lamb or goat, it could be about 25.I should also say that these patterns are broken up specifically for the type of hide they were intended to be made of. Lamb jackets require more piecing to use the skins more efficiently. Cow hides are larger so one wouldn’t need to piece front (or back) segments into upper and lower unless the design had certain style lines in it. The particular jacket above (21245) has solid front sections but the side panels are pieced upper and lower; the fringe covers the seaming. The back is cut the same except it also has a finished (not over laid) stylized one point yoke.I made these patterns about 25 years ago; the company went under in the late 90’s and I ended up with these. Still have them hanging on a rack; can’t bear to throw them away, keep hoping someone will want them or they’ll come back in style.

Will the top writers in 2018 get a Top Writer jacket or any other thing?

When I was declared a Top Writer, I received a message from Jonathan Brill about it. The message looked like this.As you can see, it says that the Top Writers of 2018 will receive a One Year Subscription to New York Times.I am a first time TW but from what I have read on Quora, the older TWs were given different gifts each time. Last year, it was a jacket. Maybe they'll bring it back on the future or give away something else.

How can I get the smell out of my Canada Goose jacket? It has a sort of musky wet dog smell on the jacket and the coyote fur trim.

It sounds like you got it very wet at some time as the feathers and the fur both are giving of odours. Check the care label to see if you can first wash this garment. If so follow the instructions and wash it. If not just start here.In order to dry the feathers you will need a tumble drier on a low setting for quite a few hours. Keep checking on it because the tumbling action which is intended to break up the feathers (or down) within their pockets to allow them to dry out. If you have any buttons or trim that may not stand up to this process then cover them with foil or remove them. It may help putting a couple of clean tennis balls in the tumbler, this allows the balls to bounce around helping to break up the feather /down clumps allowing them to dry out better.Once its fully dry if washed it should smell nice, if you cant wash it there may well be some odour but much less. So leave it to air on a hanger now and then spray on a fabric freshener.I would not have it dry cleaner as its damp and the solvents would not mix with the moisture in the jacket possibly causing shrinkage and ring marks.

How do I determine my jacket size?

Get a measuring tape and measure yourself around the biggest part of your chest. Also get a jacket that fits you well and that is a good length, and measure the length of it from the nape of your neck to the back hem.Compare those two measurements to the measurements provided for different sizes of the jacket. Take into account whether you are likely to wear thick sweaters or fleece underneath, in which case you may want to order up a size. For coats or jackets I would always order up, not down, if I seemed to be between sizes.Good luck.

Is it safe to dry clean leather jackets? Why or why not?

The short answer for this is yes, it is safe to bring a leather jacket to a dry cleaner.I currently work as a dry cleaner and the policy for the store I work at is to send out goods containing real leather to be cleaned at another cleaners that has the capability to do so (as our store is small). If it's something like a leather coat, jacket, purse, boots, or other item, the customer is informed of how long the item will take and how much it'll cost (I don't have all the prices memorized since I rarely view them, but a short leather jacket costs $44.50 in USD), then we inspect the item for damage and stains as normal. The invoice for the item is placed in a log book and the item itself is hung on a rail in the storage area of our store to be picked up with other outgoing items. If the item is, for example, a pair of denim jeans with a leather patch (such as Levi's where there's a logo on the back right at the belt line) we simply put it in the dry cleaning machine as normal. Over time the leather patch will get dried out, but that's only the case when it's a decal or decoration that doesn't warrant anything special.Ah yes, and if it's a zip-off fur trim from a coat, it's simply removed and hung up by itself (not cleaned) and reunited with its coat afterwards.I hope this helps! My point with all the extra info was each item requires different processes for cleaning, but the best way to care for them is to bring it to the experts. As long as you bring it to a reputable dry cleaner, they'll know what to do. As always, you can phone and ask them questions if you're not sure! Or simply bringing the item into the store and showing them in person, if you want.

Where can I find the best leather jackets in India?

Nowadays people are selling PU leather jackets in name of leather jacket and it is very difficult to make difference between pure leather jackets and PU leather jacket.I did some research and found on quora about www.leatherclue.com. People had written very good reviews about this website , so I thought to take a risk and ordered a leather jacket. After placing the order the leatherclue guy called me for measurements details for best fitting. As I had ordered M size but they asked me some size details about my body. I provided them and then they asked any design or color changes. I asked some design changes as they said that they don't charge any extra amount for any customization. So I gave some design changes. They called me twice to verify everything which increased my confidence on this website. After 9 days I got the jacket. I had not aspected lots but had some good aspectations as their response. When I opened the parcel box I really got impressed by jacket looks and finishing. Leather was also very soft and as they had said that it will be sheep leather. I rechecked with my friends and the leather was 100% pure sheep leather.I surely recommend this site if you are looking to but a leather jacket. You guys are doing great job.Cheer's
