When Will Yahoo Answers Cut Down On Commercial Spam __

Can i still cook the frozen potatoes that turn brown?

Yes of course you can sweetie..^__^ The thing about potatoes is that if you pre-do the night before and dont compleately seal out any air, they turn brown. You would have to vaccuem seal for them not to. But they will be fine, they just wont look the same. Maybe ty a new flavor on those fries, like Cajun, or red salt seasoning so that it makes the visual better. When you cook them you will see they taste the same. You can test theory by Blinfolding someone and have them taste when you are done, ( dont let them see or know what youre doing till after) The taste should be fine, the texture MIGHT be changed tho. You have the right idea about making your own for sure! just gotta seal out the moisture, or freeze faster than they can turn- ( what the commercial stores do)
Cheers...
PS, I will be your test victim! c'mon over...^__^

Crap. I ate raw bacon last night. Am I going to get sick?

Why you ask, would I be so retarded? Good question. I was wasted last night and had friends over, and made us bacon and eggs. Apparently my impairment led me to believe that half cooked but mostly raw bacon was fully cooked, and also quite delicous. Don't remember this per se, was informed of it by more than one reliable source. I feel okay right now *this was like 12 hours ago* .... Am I doomed to get sick? Can I do anything to help the situation?

Why do washing machines take so long to open the door?

1. You can see that the water is out of the machine. 2. You can see that the clothes have been sufficiently spun to release / extract as much water as possible (the pieces are now stuck to the sides of the drain vents). 3. Then the machine spins, sluggishly, twice to the left ... clicks... spins twice to the right __ only, I agree with you that these series of spins take about 2 minutes. It appears that they offer no signicant assistance to the washing process, nor, do I believe that this 2 minutes contribute to the safety factor of not getting your hands taken off (hardly a factor when the machine is barely spinning).

Commercial Washers are set to make as much money as possible. To do so, the minutes in the series of wash cycles are set to extended or retracted from based on the operating cost factor of each series in this cycle, i.e., pre-soak, extract, wash, extract, rinse, spin, etc. The biggest operating cost would relate to the main wash time, i.e., cost of electricity the machine use to agitate clothes; lifecycle of the machine as it works harder to agitate and cost of water. The "lazy" "sluggish" unnecessary 2 mins back and forth spin would definately involve less operating cost.

Now take into consideration that the entire wash cycle timer is pre-set at the factory, i.e., 16 mins or 14 mins. However, while it is pre-set, it allows the owner to cut down or up the minutes the machine spend on each series in the wash cycle. So that where it cost more to run the main wash... then cut back time on this and extend time on the unnecessary lazy spin part that extend well over 2 mins beyond the necessary extraction and fluff time.

Your question brings to mind "Why do clothes dryers take so long to dry your clothes?" Put $2 bucks in with 8 mins per/quarter and the clothes are still not dry. 1. You know you didn't put too much clothes in it. 2. You also realize that the clothes are filled with lint while folding and putting them on repulse you. Ahhh, you can deduce that the owner haven't cleaned the lint filter in a long time. The slower the clothes dry... the more money you put in!

I have folliculitis, Please help!?

Well I just found out on myself I have Folliculitus. Its nothing related to STD's, and I have been having it for almost 4 weeks, I'm not using any creams and medicine. I'm only using an Anti-Bacterial soap. When I first had it, I had it on my pubic area and they are like little red rashes and started itching the next few days. But since I have been using Anti-bacterial Soap, It got less of the red bumpy ness and it isn't itchy anymore.
I was wondering since I'm only using an Anti-Bacterial soap, How long will it take for it to completely go away?

Does anyone know this song?

Daydream or Daydream (I fell asleep amid the flowers) is a song originally composed and recorded in 1968 by the Belgian band Wallace Collection.
The most famous modern version of the song is by British electronic act I Monster who extensively sampled the music, to make the song "Daydream In Blue". This trip-hop version uses a new vocalist - although from the original version only the chorus line is actually sung, words which are now famous in themselves due to extensive airplay, use in advertisements, and as background music to many TV programmes including the BBC's highly-acclaimed Hustle and Cutting It, as well as the film Layer Cake.

That chorus are as follows:

Daydream, I fell asleep amid the flowers
For a couple of hours on a beautiful day
The chorus bassline is replaced with a sample of Portishead's trip-hop classic Glory Box.

The I Monster version does feature other (darker) lyrics, but these are so heavily distorted as to be almost inaudbile as words and easily mistaken as the product of an instrument such as a 303 rather than a human voice.

This version was originally released in 2001, and can be found on I Monster's album Neveroddoreven. It was also the theme music for the film Steal a.k.a. Riders.

How do I figure out how much lettuce, tomato, relish to buy to serve on 400 hamburgers?

Well each tomato will yield 4 to 5 slices and each burger should have 2 slices. I figure 50 medium tomatoes will yield 200 slices that 2 slices per burger would be enough for 400 burgers.
