When it comes to royalty is it the first born child that gets crowned or is it the first born son?
so say in the future William has become king and he has 3 kids the eldest a girl the middle one a girl and the youngest a boy would the boy be first in line for the crown because he is the only son or third in line because he is the youngest child

Before crown goes to another brother, you have to go to the descendants of the deceased brother first. After George III died, the crown went to oldest son George IV. When George IV died, the crown would have gone to his eldest legitimate son if he had any. If he didn't then the crown would have gone to his eldest legitimate daughter. George IV had no sons, legitimate or otherwise and he outlived his only daughter. Therefore since he had no descendants, the crown whould have gone to George III's 2nd son, Frederick Duke of York but Frederick was already dead and he had no descendants, so crown went to son #3, William IV. When William IV died, he had outlived all legitimate children so since he had no descendants, the crown would have gone to son #4, Edward, Duke of Kent but he was dead so crown went his only living descendant, Victoria. If Victoria had died before becoming queen or died before she had children, then the line of son 4 Edward, is extinguished, therefore the UK would have gone to son 5, Ernest August who was made King of Hanover. Under Hanover's line of succession rules, women can't inherit the crown which is why Ernest was made King of Hanover and Victoria was not made Queen of Hanover. The fact that the crown of Hanover is a foreign crown is irrelevant. George I, George II, George III, George IV, and William IV were Kings of Hanover in addition to Kings of the UK. This is same reason why William and Harry come before their uncle, 2nd son Andrew. They are descendants of the 1st son Charles. This is also why Andrew's daughters come before 3rd son Edward, they are descendants of 2nd son Andrew.

It won't change anything that isn't happening already.First thing to note is that here in the UK Megan Markle is not called African American. She's just American. And she's not some special case; Catherine Middleton came from an ordinary household. She was lucky she attended the same prestigious school as William did.But the Royal Family doesn't need this kind of racial inclusion (which, again, most in the UK aren't interested in. American is American no matter the skin colour). Did you know the crown has a Twitter page? A Facebook profile? Her majesty came up with those. Did you know that Prince Harry created a paralympic sporting event by and for veterens and injured personnel of the armed forces?Prince Charles has entertained that when it is his time to be crowned he would be defender of all faiths. He has since backed down but I doubt he stopped believing this was a noble idea.In more Victorian times, Prince George and his siblings would be “mudbloods.” But in more contemporary times I've never seen it even considered - we are all universally happy for more royal babies no matter where they come from.The royals don't need a mixed race baby to be more modern and inclusive. They're doing plenty I would certainly consider inclusive already.
What happens when the Crown Prince dies? monarchy question?
so i am writing a story of royals and monarchys and in my story the King son the crown prince of that country will die as well as his wife and 2 boys leaving only his 2 young daughters left his eldest daughter is 8 years old and his youngest is a 4 month old newborn. now the king is left with 2 remaining daughters now would the King eldest daughter now become the crown princess in the event he dies as well, or will the former crown prince children take his title as heir to the throne any examples from real life rules of succession will be great and i will also add that a new law of succession passed where girls can take the throne. so any information will be very helpful as i want to make my story as real as possible Thanks so much to anyone who will reply to my question :)
When it comes to the royal line of succession, what could cause an illegitimate child to be crowned king or queen after the last monarch dies?
Well, I imagine that everyone in the LEGITIMATE line of succession would have to die too. Then, I imagine that they would go back to the eldest son of the eldest son of the last legitimate monarch who also had illegitimate children, trace that line down through the generations, and then the eldest child of THAT line would become monarch. But who knows. And how likely is it to happen?For example, in the British royal family there are PLENTY of descendants in the legitimate line so that it would take a major global disaster to wipe out that line totally. In fact, there are people in the U.S. who are in direct descent from a legitimaate monarch, so it would be possible for some U.S, resident to actually become the monarch, in the rrally fantastically impossible event that the monarch and all direct ancestor lines were wiped out!In short. NOTHING would happen that is weird. OR, maybe the people of whatever country you are referring to would decide they no longer even wanted a monarch, in which case the heirs would simply take their money out of that country, live somewhere on the beach and spend their lives in rich laziness!
