When Your Boss Asks You If You Mind Working For A Monster What To Say

My co-worker talks bad about me to our boss an to my other co-worker.?

There are always nasty ppl like that..... only thing you can do is ignore her, just like your boss has done so far!! if s/he (the manager) is just a little intelligent, s/he must be aware of the situation already and that is why s/he doesn't pay attention to your co worker's comments at all. If you were doing something wrong, your boss would have already told you about it, be sure of that. None of us are perfect and let's be honest, WE ALL violate the company's policies from time to time...... including the boss. If the boss was after you, s/he could have already used this unsollicited information to do something against you, but this is not the case. So why worry about this ***** gossiping?? Just do what you have to do, keep on coming into the office at your usual time, keep on using your cell phone, and if someone (she) isn't happy about it, TOUGH..... let her spill her venom, she isn't getting anywhere by doing this!!! So if she wants to waste her time, fine.... don't let that bother you, cuz that's what she wants. Maybe when she sees that the manager doesn't pay attention to her at all and you aren't scolded bcuz of her gossiping she will stop eventually..... good luck.

When my boss belittles me in front of my co-workers is that considered harassment?

My boss has pushed me into a position I didn't want, but got me to accept it with presenting it to me in an appealing way. "I know you want to a promotion, make more money, and one step closer to your career goal. This is correct right?" How do you say no to that? So I took on the position and tried to pick up on it as quickly as possible. I had to work with an incompetent contract worker (person who gets paid after all the work is done), who kept lying about my work. I got stuck doing all the work and my boss believed her (mind you she just started with us) over me (been there 2 years). One instance in particular he questioned me about my work and told me my "partner" had reported to him that all her work was done and that I was falling behind. I tried to explain to him that she lied to him and I wasn't able to finish my work until she finished hers first. He didn't take the time to listen to me and asked me to place him on speaker in front of everyone in the office. He belittled me and said he was paying me to do nothing. The conversation was more extreme and it included a few foul words. So would this be considered harassment?

What is a good Boss' Day quote? ?

I have a boss that is the same age as I am, 26 yrs old. He really likes to drink coffee. So I found this monster coffee mug and I wanted to paint something on it. I wanted to put a really funny or off the wall quote or saying on it but I cannot think of something funny to put on there.

My 3 year old thinks she's the boss.?

I also have a 3 and a half year old doing the same thing...I try to keep her busy and tv time is earned....we do a sticker chart and when she get 4 stickers we will watch one show....she gets them for listening, not hitting at the park and other little things.

I would not recommend soap as i do not use it...and if it is not working then stop....I do a lot of ignoring...like when she gets into her not listening time I will ignore her later when she is asking for something...I usually will just continue to read or do what I am doing...After she has called me for about 5 times I will ask her if she likes me not listening to her....This has worked a few times.

We also do the whole...who is the adult and who is the child....When she starts bossing her younger brother I tell her she is the boss of herself and her dolls. Many times I hear her telling her dolls she is the mommy and the boss.

It is hard to see respect from a 3 year old...but you also need to model it...catch her doing good things and thank her for doing them...like picking up or playing nicely....this works the best as later she thanks me for doing things. I really use to roll my eyes when others said it...but catching her doing good things has worked so well with her.

Good luck...
