Where Can I Buy A Serval Cub In Kuwait

In what states can I have a Savannah cat as a pet?

The answer to this question is not a simple one. Savannah cats are legal in most states; with some varying restrictions in some of them. Hawaii, Rhode Island, Georgia and Nebraska have statewide bans against Savannah cats. Texas, New York and Colorado have counties and cities in which Savannahs are illegal. And some states have restrictions on early generations of Savannah cats, but allow the generations with more domestic cat genes. Maryland bans Savannah cats that weigh over 30 lbs. (quite silly, since Maine Coon cats that weigh more than 30 lbs. aren’t uncommon.) Some states that allow Savannah cats, require you to get certain permits to legally keep them. It is also very important to check laws and regulations for your city, county, township, HOAs and apartment rules, etc. to be sure your Savannah will be allowed. The best source I have seen for up to date laws on Savannah cats and other hybrids, is Hybrid Law - US and International Laws for Ownership of Hybrid Cats and Dogs .The laws in different states can change, so it is important to check, if you are considering moving to a new location with a Savannah. Hopefully, as people become better informed, laws will change to allow Savannahs wherever they had hitherto been illegal. That happened in Connecticut in 2012. But there are some organizations attempting to ban Savannahs and other hybrid derived domestic cats, from time to time, here and there. You can learn more about that at New! Savannah Owner’s Rights – and at Save Our Hybrid Derived Domestic Cats.
