Where Can I Buy A Xbox 360 Elite Power Supply

What does the yellow light on Xbox 360 power supply mean?

If the Xbox 360 power supply light is yellow, it means that there is no issue with the console, but the power supply is not able to supply it with power. To fix this problem, try unplugging the Xbox 360 power supply from the console and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Reconnect the wires again and turn the console on. I think it would solve the problem.

How do I repair the power supply of my Xbox 360?

In general, if you're not an electrician or an electrical engineer, I wouldn't ever mess with trying to fix anything that does anything to do with regulating power of any sort. Perhaps you'll fix it but you are just as likely to give yourself a nasty electrical shock, burn out your console, or worst case, kill yourself or start an electrical fire.Go out and buy a new one. In the US, you can likely buy one off Craiglist or Ebay for $10-15 or second hand at some retailers for about $20. Online retailers will also sell generic ones for $20-25 and you can probably locate an original one, brand new for about $35. Either way, a small cost to ensure the safe operation of your Xbox.

Can I use a 220v power supply on a U.S. Xbox one if my country's voltage is also 220?

There is no reason I can think of why it would not work and would not require a transformer. The power supply on devices like these have a brick shaped block between where it plugs into the wall and where it plugs into the device. In this case an Xbox.To streamline production the devices themselves are generally made all the same. The brick in the power cable converts the incoming voltage and outputs what the device needs. Even further, components in the power supplies are sometimes identical with multiple inputs so it is just a matter of the company wiring it differently for foreign markets. It is all about cost saving, ease of manufacturing and inventory management. The fewer versions of things you have the less likely you end up with dead inventory. The bricks are a small cost item compared to the device so risk is a lot lower if they don’t all sell.Ultimately, I would still confirm with Microsoft since I have no way of confirming this.

XBOX 360 power supply doesn't fit in back of console HELP!!!!!!!!!!!?

I just bought a "brand new" xbox 360 pro on ebay (the 20GB HDD version). I tried connecting the power supply to the console and it wouldn't fit. There's seems to be a plastic pin in between the sockets in the back. I've read in forums that it can be removed and the cord will plug in with no problems but i don't wannna do that cause i'm afraid i might make the problem worse. Has anyone had this problem? Do the 60GB and 20GB versions use a different power supply? Or the arcade and elite versions use different power supplies? HELP!!!!!!!

Which Xbox 360 Power Adapter do I need?

You have to use the 203W power supply if your 360 needs 203W.

It's ok to use a larger power supply with an Xbox that needs less (that is, a 360 that needs 175W can use a 203W power brick).

If you try it the other way around, the 360 is going to try to pull more power than the brick actually can handle. This either means that the 360 isn't getting enough power, in which case the 360 can randomly crash. Or, the power brick will supply too much power, overloading it and possibly making it fail.

There have been Elites that use all three types of power supply -- it's not the model, but the chipset inside it that controls how much power it needs. Older 360s used the 203W supplies; in 2008 they were mostly Falcons that used 175, and 2009 is the Jasper that needs 150W.

Can you use a regular power cable into the power supply of an Xbox 360 slim?

Yes , you can. As you can seen in the link at the bottom, a typical Xbox 360S console has a consumption of 135 watts, so if you use a regular power cable suitable to provide current to a PC's 400 watts power supply, the wire gauge is enough to handle almost 3 times the power of the Xbox.Xbox 360 Power Supply
