What are some good resources to help developing English accents (preferably British RP)?

Be careful with your terminology. I’m not sure RP is what you might call standard English. Very few people speak RP these days. I’d say it is largely the accent of the privileged, and perceived as such by native British English speakers: which my not be what you actually want to achieve. I read that only 3% of British English speakers use RP. What you might mean is standard southern English, or “BBC English”. But even having said that, BBC English seems to me an archaic term, as the broadcaster is chock full of presenters from all over the UK who have regional accents, and quite rightly so. Standard English can, and is, also spoken with a regional accent. For example, I like to think I’ve always spoken standard English in terms of vocabulary, grammar and syntax. I used to do so with a West Country accent, but these days am much more southern/estuary, due to moving to the central south coast from my birthplace of Bristol. I’ll admit to code switching to a less accented mode when I think it’s appropriate though!Having said all that the BBC is a good place to hear consistently good English, from standard southern to standard English with a regional accent. Radio 4 is probably the best resource.

Well, personally, I’m a huge fan of mangas and anime. The stories are top-notch and the art is beautiful.I’ve tried to find mangas in Indian libraries and bookstores but found none. I DID see some in the bookstore of Delhi airport and some more (I think it was Shugo Chara!) in JustBooks (it is a library chain).I collect my mangas through Amazon now though. Each manga volume ranges from Rs. 300–700 there. If you have a Prime membership, then they deliver the manga in good condition by 3 days which is pretty quick. I had to wait 3 weeks when Prime wasn’t introduced in India.You can also get them through Flipkart but I found it costlier. I bought my first manga from Flipkart for Rs 795/- only to find later that Amazon was selling the same for Rs 480/- which really ticked me off.
