Is Verizon better than AT&T? Why or why not?

My wife used to have AT&T, and I have always had Verizon. She has since switched to Verizon so we are on the same bill.I just asked her two days ago if she noticed any difference between the two. She says that Verizon will drop a call once a week if that, but AT&T would drop at least one call a day.Two things to consider: we live in the Phoenix, AZ metro area. Some markets claim AT&T has less dropped calls than Verizon; I believe it depends on what each carrier has done to build their network. Secondly, you do not say what is important to you. If you have to, have to, have to have an iPhone, you're either going to AT&T or you're going to wait 1-12 months for Verizon to finally start selling them. On the other hand, if dropped calls make you absolutely furious, Verizon is your likely winner.
