Where Can I Find Cute Wedges For Summer/graduation That Aren

Graduation Party?

Cut off a pair of pants and cuff the legs a bit and you have capris. Get a nice top and go to the party. I think your friend will be upset and offended if you don't go. Get her a card and make her up a coupon that says good for 1 free homecooked dinner, 1 free housecleaning, or 1 free night out or anything like that. It is a nice gift that won't cost you and your friend will appreciate it

How much is an average 8th grade graduation dress?

Im going graduation dress shopping for my 8th grade graduation ceremony and i have no clue how much dresses are there not like $100 are they I never shop for dresses so i wouldn't know. So what is the average amount for a 8th grade graduation dress? What kind of prices should i be expecting to see? Thanksss!

What should my graduation dress be ?

my graduation is next month and i dont know what to wear D: .
its summer so i would like a summer dress type thing . um short floral or something i mean something that you wouldnt find just anywhere but thats $100 or less . i dont wanna go to graduation with the same dress as someone else . and what should i do with my hair . i have long black hair.

Cute Dresses?? Wat should i wear?

firstly, when you go to the actual ceremony for the bat mitzva, it's a good idea to either wear a jacket or a shawl if you plan on wearing a dress with spaghetti straps or strapless (showing shoulders in a temple isnt totally proper). In terms of your actual dress for the dance and your friend's party, I suggest a simple dress, cut above the knee, that looks classy. Try stores like forever 21 and H&M for something cheap. Macys has nice things too. Pick something that suits your body type and skin tone (like dont wear pale yellow if you have ridiculously white skin, and dont wear something really low cut if you have a large bust). Also, take a friend or your mom or an aunt. Make sure they're honest though! You don't want an overpleaser who will say you look good in anything (because trust me, even giselle doesnt)

As a teenager, what are your school's dress codes and your opinions toward them?

I go to a fundamental school, so I believe the dress code is a little stricter than some of the other schools in my area.No tank topsNo shorts or jeans that go above the ankleSkirts need to be 2 inches above the knee or longerNo visible underwear (includes bra straps)No exposed midriffNo sheer clothingNo flip-flopsNo leggingsAnd so here’s a brief fun fact: I live in Florida.Florida.Sometimes—often—dress code is less of an issue because of personal expression and more because just stepping outside in jeans and a t-shirt makes people start to melt. But aside from intense heat as a motivator, it just doesn’t make much sense to me.Girls can wear skirts and dresses. Wonderful. Why can’t we wear shorts, then? Why can’t we wear capris/cutoff jeans? Why are we not allowed to show our ankles? This isn’t Victorian England.I can understand skirt length restrictions if only because it would be all too easy for mishaps involving a girl’s underwear, but at the same time there comes a point when you need to go “What?”A friend of mine was wearing a dress that was within dress code restrictions. It showed more when she was walking, because, well, she was walking. She was wearing a long jacket over it, one that was actually longer than the dress itself. She stormed into chemistry and threw her backpack down. “That old man who always stands outside his door tried to dress code me. He told me my dress was too short.”So a few seconds of debate about that, and she admits, “I’m not even… It was just weird. This guy’s old with gray hair and he’s telling me I’m showing too much leg. I didn’t like it. It felt like he was ogling me.”Enforcing a strict dress code is more likely to create problems than dispel them. And once you get past that—it’s the reasoning that bothers me.We—mostly girls—can’t wear shorts, or tank tops, or show our bra straps, because it would distract boys from learning. You know what distracts me from learning? That freakishly tall kid who sits in front of me in pre-calc. The teacher refused to move my seat so I could see the board. You know what isn’t distracting? A girl wearing a tank top and shorts. It’s not our fault for wearing what we like; if the boys are legitimately distracted, maybe they can work a little bit harder on paying attention. There’s a difference between staring at a girl’s legs across the room and actually having your view of the board blocked by a 6′2″ monster.

What do you wear to a wedding?

You can wear black to a wedding! I almost always do. Just don't ever, ever wear white, it is one of the rudest things you can do to the bride.

And the invitations are a great way to tell the tone of the wedding, and if you still aren't sure, just ask! Maybe your boyfriend's mom can help you shop for something if she has time.

My advice, no matter what the tone: Don't wear anything too short or super revealing, no one likes the attention to be steered away from the bride (same reason not to wear white). Oh, and don't pick that as the day to break in your new stilettos. Either wear a lower heel that you can walk comfortably in (try a wedge) or start wearing the higher ones around the house for a few weeks before the wedding so you can get used to them.

What can I do about classmates who judge me?

I'm very different than anyone else in the 8th grade at my school, so people always judge me. I like my hair short ( it's part of my unique style), so last year I cut my hair a little bit shorter than I usually do. I thought it was a cute style, but all of the other kids didn't. They said I cut my hair like a teacher. How does that even make sense?! Graduation is in a couple months and I want to cut my hair really short for the summer. If you're wondering how short I want to go, think Amelia Earhart, but it will still be cute. I'm really worried about what my classmates will think. I don't mind standing out, but when people say that I look like a teacher ( and their saying it in a bad way), I'm worried. I'm a harassment target at my school and I really don't know what to do. Please help.

As a woman accustomed to wearing dresses only on formal occasions, how can I wear pants or other garments besides dresses and skirts to formal events without looking too casual?

Knowing what to wear for a formal event is always a challenge, no matter who you are.The key thing is to show respect: respect your setting and respect yourself.  Formal events suggest fancy-dress - things you wouldn't wear everyday or out to milk cows.  Respecting yourself means wearing clothes that you are comfortable in; if the formal event is under a tent on a grassy field, you'd no doubt be more comfortable wearing a chunky heel, platform, wedge or flat shoe that doesn't sink into the turf over a spiky heel that will make walking or dancing more challenging. Formal dress for women that are not dresses can include women's tuxedos, jumpsuits, suits and dressy pants including palazzo pants, in dressy fabrics and textures, like chiffons and silks.   When I googled "formal dress pants", a range of images came up that ranged in price from $60 to thousands.  You can also check Rent Designer Dresses, Gowns, & Accessories for Women - they carry a wide range of styles that you might feel comfortable in.  Here are some photos off the web to give you ideas. *urgent* I need a dress and I'm really fat, HELP please (pics)?

I have to got to a formal sweet sixteen party in 2 weeks and everyone is already bugging me to go buy a dress and shoes. Which is hell on earth for me. I, er, HAVE to go, even though I would rather stay in but that's another story. So here I am, asking the internets for help in choosing a dress type that kind of hides the flab, or anything for that matter, and also wondering how much weight can I lose in 2 weeks? I already do swimming 5 days a week and I'm on a diet. please please please answer. I managed to push back the buying date until next weekend but that isn't much.

P.S. because everyone deposits fat in different ways (mine goes mostly to my thighs, ugh. and my legs are huge...besides my stomach aint what it used to be so now I have love handles too), here's the reference pics.
