I dont live in Phoenix but i can pretty much guaruntee you the internet will be cheaper, its just up to you if it is worth spending the extra money to get them in a certified store.
Should I buy a pair of Beats by Dre: iBeats?
Are they worth the 100$ price tag? How durable are the earbuds? I currently use Skullcandy Titans, so how do the ibeats compare? I know ibeats caters more to the "Hip-Hop side", but how do the ibeats perform with genres such as Alternative or Rock? I've really enjoyed my Titans, so should I upgrade?

If you don't mind a secondhand pair of Beats, follow this procedure. Buy a Grado SR60e, walk up to someone with the Beats, look disdainful and hand them the Grados. Then, when they're blown over by the superior sound of the Grados, tell them you'll swap if they want. If they are too deaf to appreciate the superior sound of the Grados, look around for the next Beats listener. Since most Beats listeners turn up their headphones to pump up the bass, you might have to repeat the procedure a couple of times before you have success.You can't lose, really, because if you keep failing, you'll have the Grados. Who knows, you might come to your senses and prefer the Grados to headphones worn only by sheeple.

If you're talking about paying $96 on some website that deliberately sells fakes, claiming on the site that they're real, you're better off going to http://www.maniacool.com/Product/Fashion-Folding-Stereo-Headphone-Earphone--White.htm They may be the cheapest out there now, as I've used dealextreme.com before and they were great, but they got shut down from selling fake beats. Read the reviews, and look up maniacool on youtube to see what people are saying because I can't guarantee you that they're the best. How long do Beats (by Dr. Dre) last?
depends on which ones you're getting. For over the ear headphones id say yes and no. The solos i hear break EASILY and some people's solos only lasted them about a week. Not even. But the customer service is pretty good and they'd get a new one everytime. Unfortunately that new one would also break in a couple of weeks. For me, i have the studios and i've had them for about 5-6 months already. Never had a problem with them. Some complaints from other people here and there. I guess they were just unlucky but im sure if something happened to the studios they should be ok. Also, my wire is getting a little messed up so i emailed them and they told me the wire has a life time warranty. As for the in ear buds, not to sure about those. i hear they're quite uncomfortable and need to adjust in order to really get into your ear. they're also somewhat hard to stay in. solo HDs not to sure about how long those will last. havent really heard anything bad so far. but it too seems as if they could break as well. spins. They're coming out with new heaphones around april. They seem MUCH more durable then all the other headphones because instead of a plastic feel, its metal and they look amazing. Lets just hope they sound as good as they look! if you're planning on buyin the studios, id say befriend someone from best buy because you can get that amazing discount and only have to pay about 170-180! really good deal. im assuming you can do that with the other headphones as well. For me, i got mines off ebay. Not sure about warranty on them but they're still working and nothing is broken. cept the wire but i know im covered for that. hope this helps!
What is your review of Beats by Dr. Dre?
Beats by Dr Dre have the biggest market share in the Global Headphone Industry. They have created a brand thay is synonymous with sport music and fashion. They were initially designed to make hip hop more exciting. This was done by engineering a sound signature that boosted the bass frequencies and muted the mids(vocals,electric guitars etc) and slightly boosted the upper mids(cymbals,percussion,echo etc) and gently rolled off the high frequencies. This became known as a consumer sound.Nowadays the standard beats by Dr Dre still have the same characteristics. The Beats Studio Pro is , remarkably, in both wired and wireless versions a very fine sounding headphone which has a clear refined sound signature . It stands up to and beats many of its competitors at that price point even when compared to audiophile headphones that are on sale in specialist HiFi shops.
How much do Beats by Dre cost compared to other headphones of similar quality?
Mark Harrison is very generous to beats saying around double! I would say beats are over 6x more expensive than similar or even better sounding headphones. Not sure why but people keep thinking that these are headphones. They are a fashion statement and only for wearing round your neck like a fashion article and should not be confused with serious audio quality headphones. Anyone who knows audio immediately knows that the wearer has no idea what good sound is.I would ask you to seriously compare $40-$60 Sennheiser, AKG, Audio-Technica, etc. headphones to any beats and see how poorly the beats perform! I would even go so far as to suggest comparing $10 Sony in-ear phones with the best beats and honestly see which has a more clear and representative sound. The overblown bass and overly distorted and diminshed highs of the beats headphones are destroying their owners hearing. Hearing damage is cumulative and irreversible. I am sad to say that in a few years the result of this will become evident.Currently amazon has an amazing pair of Sennheiser HD380 PRO for $99 and the HD280 PRO for $70! Either one sounds better than any and all beats headphones! Note: I am not affiliated with with amazon or Sennheizer.I just bought the HD380 myself and all I can say is WOW! they sound good!
Are Beats by Dre worth it?
Please do yourself a favour and do NOT buy Dr.Dre/Beats/Solo, Koss, Skullcandy, Skullcrushers nor Bose, because ALL of them are seriously overhyped and overpriced "fashion blingbling gimmicks" with a very poor durability and sound quality, NOTHING else (and those who try to claim they are good do NOT know ANYTHING about QUALITY anyway!), be them fake or not! If REAL quality is an issue, please go for REPUTABLE brands only such as B&W, Sennheiser (most affordable), Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Audio-Technica, Etymotic or Beyerdynamic. Please do not let the peer pressure/fashion fool you because it is very often a waste of money.
