How would I know what type of (cannabis) oil cartridge to purchase for my vape pen? Are these cartridges universal or vape pen specific?
Most if not all cannabis cartridges have the standard 510 threading that will fit on just about any battery pen or vape mod. 510 threading is also used for e-cig vapes except for the early generation ego threaded tanks so it’s pretty universal for vaping devices. Most of the cartridges I’ve gotten use 1.5 ohms, some have had 2.2ohms but I rarely see those anymore.I typically use around 2.0–2.5 volts max for cannabis carts, the higher voltage will just burn up the coil faster and give off a foul taste near the end. Some batteries meant for the older style e-cig tanks don’t go below 3.2 volts, these will work fine too but will drain your cartridge a bit faster than using a lower power setting.

If it sounds to good to be true - It is. Unfortunately this also applies to the claim that cannabis is an effective cure of all cancers. Cancer is a collective term for approximately 200 different diseases. Every cell type in your body can (in principle) develop into its own type of cancer. On top of that individual cancer cells in every cancer are also different from one another. On top of that, the cancer cells interact in very complex ways with the surrounding normal cells. So it is not all that surprising that we don't have, and most likely won’t find a single cure for all cancers. This also applies to cannabis. The notion that cannabis (or more precisely THC) comes from experiments on cultured cancer cells in dishes or implanted in mice. But a cancer in a human is not the same as a cancer cell line in a dish or injected into a mouse. Such experiments are important in selecting a substance that might be developed into a useful anti-cancer drug. But you can't jump directly from results of such experiments to effects in humans. yes it does and it's probably one of the better highs you can get from Cannabis. if you want to have some idea as to why someone might want to use Cannabis medically, look up the medical conditions listed as authorized for it's use by states that have legalized it's medical use. So: #1 what states have legalized Medical Marijuana? #2 what conditions do those States consider that Medical Marijuana can treat? #3 is there a condition for which you think your mother might qualify for and might be using it for? #4 if medical and not recreational, your mother might be open to talking about it. EDIT: Cannabis is not only used to get high. In large quantities, yes it does that but then again so does Nyquil. People who use it for pain management, usually medicate a little regularly all day long, the same way you would take prescription pain meds for, well... pain.
