Where Can I Require An Eggcup Puppy

Can I feed my puppy a little scrambled egg?

I have a 12 week old bassett who is the most finicky eater ever! I have tried every brand of puppy food- IAM, Purina, Science Diet- you name it. She walks around the house crying because she is so hungry. I tried the old "starve her she will eat" but after 2 days, I finally scrambled up an egg and mixed it with a cup of puppy food really well. She ate the whole bowl and wanted more! Since I started this, she eats the recommended 3 meals per day. I only resorted to this after 3 weeks of hassle. I tried hand feeding, putting her in her crate, etc.

So do you think this is a bad thing?

I have a 7 week old puppy with fleas. How can I get rid of them?

Rather than just rely on a bath I could take your puppy to the vet to get a puppy safe medication for him.Unlike adult dogs puppies are extremely susceptible to anemia when they get fleas; and it's considered a dangerous condition for young dogs to have for that reason.Since fleas can consume 15 times their own body weight in blood, they  can cause anemia or a significant amount of blood loss over time. This  is especially problematic in young puppies, where an inadequate number  of red blood cells can be life-threatening to some dogs. Signs of  parasitic anemia include pale gums, cold body temperature and  listlessness. - @FleasIf you do however choose to treat them at home you'll need to ensure you get them all and unfortunately that's going to take time and persistence. The important step a lot of people miss is treating their home for fleas. Because fleas have a life cycle that varies greatly by environment you can find yourself with a repeat infestation if you don't kill the eggs and larvae that are inside your house.Since you're dealing with a puppy I'd stick with some of the non toxic household flea treatments.Vacuuming alone can remove about 30% of adult fleas and up to 60% of their larvae. The key is vacuuming numerous times to ensure you get them all. Make sure to pay special attention and thoroughly clean where you pet sleeps and around corners. You can pour some baking powder on your carpet to help dry out eggs that are hidden deep in the carpet. Sprinkle it on, let it sit for a few hours and then vacuum it up.I go into detail on all of the available treatments for fleas on dogs if you'd like more information on what each medication does;http://www.puppyleaks.com/dog-fl...

Is it possible to make hush puppies with no eggs?? if so how?

You could try one of the following and see how it goes:

To replace one egg, mix 2 tablespoons liquid, 2 tablespoons flour, 1/2 tablespoon shortening, and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

For a quick fix, you might try mayonnaise; 3 tablespoons per egg. This works because mayonnaise contains eggs, so don't use it if you're vegan or allergic to eggs.

1 tablespoon cornstarch plus 3 tablespoons water will also make one egg.

Gelatin is obviously a good binding agent. Dissolve 1 tablespoon of gelatin in 1 tablespoon cold water, then add 2 tablespoons boiling water. Beat the mix until becomes frothy. Bewarned, gelatin is not vegetarian (agar, or Japanese gelatin, is vegitarian, but works better for replacing the egg whites than for whole eggs).

ONE (1) egg equals any one of the following:

2 Tbs. flour
½ tsp. oil
½ tsp. baking powder
2 Tbs. liquid
****
2 Tbs. water
1 Tbs. oil
½ tsp. baking powder
****
1 Tbs. flaxseed* (ground in coffee mill)
3 Tbs. warm water
****
1 Tbs. gelatin or fruit pectin
3 Tbs. warm water

Use the recipe posted here and just pick a substitute.

Good luck, hope I helped!

Anybody got a good hush puppy recipe?

I really like the hush puppies at Cracker Barrel mostly because they are light and fluffy. The last time we had catfish I tried a recipe that I got from the internet but they were extremely dry and hard and had very little taste. Anybody know what I did wrong and how I can fix it? I'm making catfish again tonight and really want some hush puppies to go with it but don't want to waste them again (we threw the others in the trash, they were that bad). Any help will be appreciated!

6 week old puppy is shaking, why.?

I agree with the raw egg and Karo idea EXCEPT use honey instead of Karo. Honey has medicinal properties but Karo will just give hima sugar rush and then lower his immune system.
He is most likely shaking because he's cold or scared. It's just adjusting to his environment. He needs to have a blanket that is just his to curl up in so he feels safe. Try putting a little clock in the blanket with him. The ticking sound makes them feel safe; a reminder of the mother dog's heartbeat.
He may also have to go to the bathroom and not feel safe doing it so he's shaking.
If these aren't the case it could be a reaction to a vaccine. In that case it will hopefully go away in a few days but he may not want to eat much in the mean time.

My puppy's farts & poop stink so bad.?

I've heard that puppies are infamous for being stinky, but this just seems like the most. I've had dogs before & they've never smelt this bad, but then again.. I got my other two dogs when they were 6 months & 9 months old. My new puppy is 8 weeks old & I feed him The Blue Food for puppies. 1/2 a cup 4 times a day about 4-5hrs apart. He sleeps with me sometimes in the bed or in his puppy bed on the floor & I usually let him fall asleep before me, so I can watch him in case he needs to get up. He farts silently in his sleep & it smells like rotten egg! He even wakes himself up from his deathly stinky farts sometimes! Lol but seriously. Is this normal? I haven't switched foods on him. His poop is normal you know solid, but it just stinks & I get light headed. Should I take him to the vet? He seems normal, he's just stinky. He's 1/2 pit bull 1/2 American bully.
