How much is a cast iron bath tub worth used?

It depends. If it is a claw foot bathtub in good condition, it is worth up to about 5-6 hundred dollars. If it's just a 60's or 70's model bathtub, it's worth the going rate for cast iron at the scap yard, which should be around $10 per 100 lbs. It probably weighs between 250-350 lbs. $25- $30.

Soldering tools?

If you're going to solder sterling silver, then you will need to find a source for silver solder. You can try Rio silver supplies, or high end craft/jeweler's stores in your area. You will need flux (liquid or paste form), and a soldering iron. You can find inexpensive craft soldering irons at Lowe's & Home Depot.
If you are going to use nickel silver, the sort of findings that you find at the craft stores such as ac moore, michael;s etc., then you can use their craft soldering iron. I haven't tried it myself, but I hear that it works great. I know that they sell them at AC Moore, though I'm not sure of the price.

Can a sawzall be used for cutting an old cast iron drain pipe?

I'm redoing my bathroom, completely gutting it down to the studs. I need to replace all of the plumbing, and was wondering if I could use a sawzall to cut the old cast iron pipe that leads down to the basement. Or do I need to use a chain-type tool that snaps the pipe in half? I don't have one of those. I'm not a plumber, but I know how to do most plumbing.
