Where Can I View Internet Search Traffic By Location

How can someone see my internet activity through shared WiFi?

There are multiple ways someone could "listen" to your web traffic.
* Program installed on computer (such as "Trojan" virus)
* Spyware (can forward chrome & firefox profile cache, which records history if you don't delete it)
* Hard-Drive folder sharing. (Raw access to profile data in web browser application settings)
* Router. Some routers have the option to not only log basic incoming/outgoing data, but also advanced and detailed data. For instance, my D-Link router has an option for SysLog server. Which I have configured to send to my laptop. So whenever I turn my laptop on, I have detail traffic data of every domain anyone on my router is connecting to. I can't tell the exact URL, for it's not a true Firewall, but I can see the main domain website. (I can see "google.com" in the form of an IP, but I cannot see "google.com/my_search_results").

In order for someone to know your exact whereabouts online, they must be in-between your computer, and the internet. Whether a software program does-so for them and relays that information afterwards, or if they use hardware such as a router or firewall, is the true question.

The most rare of alternatives to this man-in-the-middle rule, is when someone has a network card that supports sniffing. For instance, you cannot buy a network card from Best Buy, or Dell, etc, and sniff network traffic. These cards are not designed to receive packets in that manor. But if you are using Linux and have the means to obtain such a card... indeed, many interesting things can be seen in a simple black box with white letters. I won't digress further on that topic. :P

How can I find search volume for a keyword by geographic location?

Yes Adwords has made it difficult to get keyword volumes data. Other tools that provide the data are expensive. A cheaper alternative is available with Mondovo. Our bulk keywords volume research tool gets you exact search volumes for every location that Adwords supports and the reports cost in the cents for checking the search volume of 650 words.

Can my parents see my internet history!?!!?

I need to... Do some things and those things require certain websites..... I have an iPhone 4S. I use Safari and set it to private browsing. Is there anyway that my parents could see my history. What websites I've been to? Is there any kind of program to see my history. Could they call att? Anything at all? And should I do it over WiFi or 4G. Which ones safer. Thanks

If I use someone's wifi, can they see what I'm searching?

It really depends...

If you access someone's WIFI which is unsecured or unencrypted then yes, they will be able to see every single thing you do, including passwords sent!!!!

If you are accessing someone's WIFI which is secure or encrypted by means of WPA, WPA2 and to a lesser extend WEP, then your traffic will be essentially random digits and numbers and completely unintelligible.

However, if you are just connecting into someone's WIFI it would most likely not be a secure or encrypted access point - as these would require a password or credential to log in and access the WIFI.

If you are going to continue using an unsecured WIFI I suggest you find a VPN to use or software such as "Hotspot Shield" which is DESIGED to be used in cases such as yours. Where you are using an unsecured wireless acess point and need some form of security.

Search www.download.com for "Hotspot Shield" and use it when you connect to these WIFI networks.. It will make sure that nobody can see what you are doing whatsoever!

Hope this helps.

Can the internet bill payer check my online activity even if I have deleted my history?

Okay...in our house, (there is four of us) and we all individually have laptops. We are also all connected to the same WiFi. I'm not the bill payer for the internet however, if I was to search the internet for certain things on my own laptop which I own and cannot be accessed by anyone else, what are the possibilities that the bill payer could find what I have been searching for through the Internet Provider? Will they give that kind of information, is it that easy to even get? I only ask because I have never seen this before...I am a teenage guy and I obviously don't want my folks seeing what I am doing online lol The chances of them ever trying to contact our service provider for this reason is very slim unless it was for themselves for whatever reason and that resulted in them seeing what I have been on! If this is somehow possible...could you explain how and also, how can I avoid that happening? I'm guessing that deleting my browsing history does not delete the print I've left on any record that our Internet Service Provider may have. Thanks.

Does T-mobile monitor web traffic , can they see what i'm doing on my internet phone?

I was wondering if T-mobile views all web searches done with a mobile phone. I'm worried about privacy. I don't want some worker at t-mobile head quarters getting credit card numbers or seeing i'm viewing porn . I want privacy .
