Why don't they make any good tv shows anymore?
I just watch re-runs! The last sitcoms I can think of that were actually funny were Friends, and That 70's Show. It's just gone down hill... 24 is over, and house went downhill..same with american idol! All the old shows like married with children and growing pains and full house..everything is over. Why don't they make sitcoms anymore? Even kids channels are crap now. Disney channel has wizards and music stars...but when i was a kid they had normal kids learning lessons, shows that were actually funny! Lizzie McGuire, and Even stevens! <3 and Spondgebob got SO WEIRD..they have to make everything different and interesting...why can't they just have normal people?

TV has changed so much in the last 30 years. Those of us old enough to remember when you had to be in front of the television a certain day and time in order to catch your favorite TV show or it was gone forever (at least until summer reruns). Then came the miracle of the VCR and you could record programs for later viewing (I’m convinced that my mother has the last functioning VCR in the country).Today the streaming services like Netflix allow you to watch an entire season of a show in one weekend (if that’s how you choose to spend your time).So yes, I still watch TV, but on my schedule, not the networks.

90% of the shows are crap. I just record shows or movies I like and thats the only time I watch TV.

Why are there no good sci-fi shows on TV anymore? I still miss Stargate and the old Star Trek shows?
There have been many good science fiction television shows in years the since Star Trek and Stargate, such as Battlestar Galactica (2004), Black Mirror, Caprica, Colony, Continuum, Counterpart, Doctor Who (2006), Eureka, The Expanse, Falling Skies, The Flash, Fringe, Humans, Krypton, Legends of Tomorrow, Lost, Orphan Black, The Man in the High Castle, The Rain, Sense8, Stranger Things, Supergirl, Timeless, Westworld, The 100.For shows about deep space exploration, try also checking out Dark Matter, Lost In Space, and The Orville. There’s even Star Trek: Discovery, and CBS is expanding "Star Trek" with five-year deal for new shows.If you aren’t finding good sci-fi shows on TV, then either you aren’t looking hard enough or your tastes are so narrow that you are missing out on some first-rate imaginative fiction.

Thanks A2A Raya…!!I know that for shows on the CW (Supernatural), ABC (Pretty Little Liars), and the BBC (Sherlock), you can watch the latest episodes on their websites. A lot of network channels release their most recent episodes the day after they air. You may have to tell them which local channel you have, but if you don't know because you don't really use your television set to get your TV shows anymore, just click on your best guess and start watching.Showbox : is a great app that let's you watch,download movies and TV shows for free on your smartphone. It's obviously not available on google playstore but you can definitely download it off third party sites.(the reason I mentioned an app and not a site is cause I thought it'll help people who prefer watching shows on their mobile devices)
