From your question, I am just going to assume you are talking about part 1 of the series.Seasons 1 - 3 in Naruto include pretty much all the information you need before watching Naruto Shippūden. It includes the rookies becoming genin (and eventually chunin), builds the relationship between Naruto and Sasuke, and even provides us with some characters and important character development in part 2.In the end of season 3, Naruto retrieves Sasuke after he goes to Orochimaru for his powers and training. This leads to Naruto and Sasuke getting into a major fight which shows their powers before the time skip happens. After the battle and Naruto returning to the village, all the other episodes in Naruto are just fillers and really have to contribution to the plot or story besides maybe some character development. They may seem like they’re important, but really, you only see these characters once and they are never seen again in the series (like the Shino, Ino, Naruto, Anko group arc and the episode with lee building a dojo). All the episodes really have nothing to do with the plot.So if you want to get more out of the characters and have a much deeper understanding for them, then watch seasons 4 and 5 of Naruto. But if you want to get to the juicy stuff of Naruto like fights and events that actually contribute to the plot, then skip seasons 4 and 5 and jump on over to Shippūden.I sadly made the poor decision of watching season 4 and 5 of Naruto ._.

Why do people watch Jerry Springer/Maury?
Ok, I'm not trying to offend anyone and I love good drama tv but I can't handle these two shows being on my tv, I change it whenever it comes on. The trashiness coming from the shows just annoys me and I dont know how some people can sit there and actually watch it. So if you watch these shows, what is the entertainment? What is everyones opinions on these shows? I like the Steve Wilkos show though b/c it's more serious than the others and actually for a good cause, or so they say.

Netflix has only 3 seasons of Naruto. Do season 4 and 5 matter or should I start watching Naruto Shipudden?
season 4 has lot of fillers, but season 5 has some very important moments.., dont skip them (you wouldn’t fully understand the start of Shipudden, a pitty.. since its evolves into a masterpiece!)or atleast look up the “filler episodes” (naruto list of fillers), those can be skiped (not needed for the main story), and skip them, if they're plot seem uninspiredearlier Naruto and Shipudden Fillers are ok at times ok, shedding light on side-chatacters… but some late Naruto fillers and especially Shipudden fillers can be skipped(as Shipudden climaxes keep growing, the fillers get worse and worse, can skip whole Shipudden filler seasons later on; like mentioned google the list of Naruto and Shippuden fillers, and skip those that seem cheap)
