How to start reading marvel comics?
Both Marvel official Website and Comixology offer online comic books. You can enter either website and check out the submission fees. As for where to start- I don't know much about the Hulk or Iron Man, but as far as Spider-Man goes I reccomend you start with Ultimate Spider-Man. I don't like the Ultimate Universe or Spider-Man but Ultimate Spider-Man just won me over. It's the best Ultimate title, period. Oh... if you don't know what Ultimate titles mean, it's a entire universe of Marvel that started in the year 2000. Basically, it takes the heroes and updates their stories to modern times. Instead of Spidey growing up in the sixties, he grows up in the 2000's. Captain America wakes up in the 2000's and the Avengers and X-Men are formed in the 2000's, etc. It's specifically for new readers... but I personally think most characters come off as jerks in the Ultimate Universe. Except for Spidey. And since it tells you everything from the beginning, you don't need to know anything to understand it. Deadpool you can read from Cable & Deadpool. It's a 50 issue series that is made of pure awesome. You don't really need any previous knowledge for it. The characters pretty much introduce themselves. Another hero I can recommend is Thor. Read from his 2007 series written by J. Michael Straczynski. It's so amazing. You don't need any previous knowledge for that, either. The story begins right off with reviving Thor and introducing all of his world's characters. It has a fantasy overtone, though, so if you don't like fantasy, it might not be for you. I do think it's brilliant, though.
I want to read the Hulk comics. What is the best place to start?
I was never a real big HULK fan except maybe when i was a lil kid & they still aired the live-action show. That was about all the HULK fandom i ever had. As for the comics, it just depends on you & what you like. If your like me & think anything pre-1980's is a lite to corny & like deep interesting stories a lil more up to date, I'd start w/ 1 of the story reboots of the character around the late ’80′s & early ’90’s. Or just sometime in the ’90′s period. Start then & get caught up all the way till now. That's ALOT of reading, but you asked. (lol) Sorry i can't give you the exact story arc name to start w/. Like i said, BULK is NOT my forté. Now, if you wanna know about Spidey, Venom, Deadpool, Batman, Godzilla, ect., or even Halo i coukd help ya better! Basically ANYTHING other than HULK i could help better. Just do what i would do. Ask the same question on GOOGLE & you'll get your answer.

Is there an alternate starting point to read The Incredible Hulk comics?
Yeah there is. In 2008(?), so after Planet Hulk and World War Hulk, Marvel relaunched the book just as Hulk. The catch was that Hulk was not Banner and was Red. It was writer Jeph Loeb's idea. Honestly the writing in the early issues is really, really bad. The art is amazing though. As the series progressed the writing did get better and Banner returned. At that point Marvel had two books for the character: Incredible Hulk for Banner and Hulk for Big Red. It built up into two awesome Hulk stories called: Fall of the Hulks then World War Hulks(?). It ended up being pretty cool and eventually Marvel did go back to just having one Hulk book which was Incredible Hulk featuring Banner.
