Affordable Dental Care?
My girlfriend has had a persistent problems for years. She wakes up a debilitating pain in her ear which is only managed by Vicodin and usually leaves her bedridden for the day trying to find a head position that will be the least painful and sleeping through the experience. He thinks braces, oral surgery, or likely both, will be required to fix her up. Recently its become more frequent so she saw a doctor who diagnosed her with TMJ or jaw arthritis. Her teeth are a little bit crooked but the doctor said that and, perhaps, a misalignment in her jaw is what is setting her ear off. She lives in San Francisco and is currently a university student. No dental coverage. Her income is as a freelance artist and web designer. We're not sure if Healthy San Francisco will cover any of this and I'm not sure if we really have any other options.
