Where Is The Walmart In Jasper Al

How late can you return an item to Walmart?

After having worked in multiple Walmart’s in different markets and states I can honestly say that every store is different, because not every store or for that matter manager on duty or store manager follows policy the same way. In some stores you will not receive cash for a no receipt return even though policy states you can, you will only receive a gift card. I work at a store like that even if you return a item under a dollar we’ll give you a gift card. In some stores especially ones who are open 24 hours a day, you may return items if the service desk is closed for the night at other registers but not at all stores. At some stores certain customer service managers might be willing to go to a regular register turn a key to make it possible to do returns on them and then do the return but some customer service managers wont in the exact same store. For myself once I start the close down and am escorting or in possession of cash from the registers I have closed, I will not digress from that duty to do a return. In general if the store is not open 24 hours a day it is easier to do a return before the service desk opens than after it closes because there is more time for the customer service manager to do it. The closing customer service manager has a finite amount of time left to get her job done versus the one who’s day and duties are just beginningAs for the length of time to do a return in general most everything we carry is a 90 day return however there are items that are 1 year, 30 days,15 days, and 14 days as well. Some of those items if they carry a serial number and your cashier properly scanned it at the point of sale we can pull up if it is returnable without a receipt. Some items will not be allowed by law to be returned no matter what.If you are getting the idea that there are a lot of rules for returns you would be correct, if you are getting the idea that it really is luck of the draw in some areas you would again be correct.

Does Walmart perform free ear piercing? Why or why not?

Walmart is like Claire’s, Icing, Piercing Pagoda et al in that ear piercing is free- if you buy the piercing studs. Walmart uses the Inverness system, where a sterile, sharpened earring called a piercing stud is shot into your ear with an instrument. (unlike the older “black piercing gun” the studs are smaller, sharper, and the cartridge that actually touches your ear is factor sterilized and one time use). Studex has a cartridge system that Claire’s uses, but the Inverness system has an advantage in you never have to actually see a needle or piercing stud that’s about to be shot in your ear, it’s hidden until the actual piercing. Walmart tends to prepare the instruaments directly behind you too so unless you turn around you’re not going to see them.As to why they do it, I’m don’t work in Walmart corporate so I don’t know. The low end is a lot cheaper than Claire’s. You can get your ears pierced at Walmart for $9.99 plus tax. I doubt they make much money on that. But I’d imagine it’s a possibility of some people upgrading to the $39.99 14K gold piercing studs and people buying other products at the same time. Even though you have to leave the piercing studs in for 6 weeks the temptation is going to be great to buy one or more of their regular earrings.

If you are an employee at Walmart, do you get a discount at Sam's Club?

Speaking from experience working at the Membership Desk at Sam’s club last November - December. The only discount you get is a discount on your Sam’s Club membership. What you have to do is go talk to the HR manager at your (Walmart) store and request the Sam’s Club membership. It’s not completely free, but it will be a significant discount and they’ll just take a small percentage of your paycheck to pay for it instead of you having to pay up front.

Does Walmart Vision Center accept Medicaid?

You need to call the Walmart Vision Center you plan to visit and your Medicaid MCO (The company on your insurance card) if your state has them. Some Walmart's accept Medicaid, some don't. Vision benefits vary from MCO to MCO. The basic Medicaid benefit *shoud* cover your exam, single vision lenses (ie not bi or tri focals) and a limited number of frame options once every two years for adults. If you have an MCO, some offer richer benefits. I've seen some who will go so far as covering contacts even if they are not medically necessary.

I need help in regards to my mini horses and local zoning, can ADA and Fair Housing Act help my case?

I bought a house with not quite 3 acres. I didn't know it was going to be a problem, but apparently I am not supposed to have my mini horses here in the country. I am disabled, cancer, fibromyalgia, diabetes, and the effects of radiation made it so I can no longer walk any distance, stand or sit for any amount of time. The doctor is writing a note stating that these are excellent therapy for me both physically, and mentally, besides caring for them, they are able to pull my modified chair down the road, and also carry stuff for me around the property, they can also pick up things for me. I am going to ask for a variance in the zoning so I can keep them. The zoning admin person told me I have to give $350.00 to hand in the variance form and they it would be denied. Do I stand a chance under the ADA and Fair Housing Act laws? They have an excellent sized area to run, shelter, and are up to date on shots, and worming, and trims and always food and water. Am I wrong in thinking this would be a reasonable request for zoning variance? Do I have a chance legally, under the ada and fair housing act. Before I became so ill I used to show dogs, and horses and be a very active person, these little guys give me my reason to get up in the morning. I really don't know what I would do without them.. Please any ideas or help...
