Where To Buy Gently Used Silver Jeans

Shopping in silver spring md?

You can try the local shopping malls or clothing stores.

What should I do about my 17-year-old daughter? She wants designer clothes and wants me to give her money but I don’t because she is old enough to get a job.

My daughter wanted designer clothes. Every year before school I allocated a certain amount of money for her back to school clothes and we went shopping together. We’d shop for the day, then go out to a nice dinner. It was good daddy daughter time together (I was a single father). One year she had her heart set on a pair of Silver brand jeans. They were something around $100 and that was a pretty good percentage of her total clothing budget. I asked her if she was going to be able to wear them more times before they wore out than, say a $45 pair of jeans. I told her she needs to think about the cost per wearing. The discussion was about one pair of expensive jeans, but I was trying to help her see a larger concept. She bought the jeans. Not too long after this shopping trip, I explained to my daughter that I wouldn’t have much money to put toward her college education. I suggested a strategy to help her get through college without any debt. My contribution to the plan was that she could live at my house rent free during college and commute to campus, about thirty miles away.Of course my daughter improved on my college financing ideas. She was always dressed stylishly, but told me she hadn’t purchased any non clearance new clothes in years. She also bought most of her clothes at Goodwill. She dressed nicely for a fraction of the cost of buying new clothes. One day during her third year or fourth of college my daughter showed me a tattered pair of blue jean shorts. They were the last remaining remnants of the $100 pair of Silver jeans she’d purchased years ago. She also gave me the log of all the times she wore them, she reported that at less than $.50 per wearing she was declaring the jeans to have been an excellent value. Well played, daughter, your father is extremely proud!

How much does "Plato's closet" pay for the clothes they want to buy from u?

No they don't ask for how much you got it for. They price it at the quality, how well it will sell, what people will buy it for. They give quite a lot of money (like $5) for nice brands like Abercrombie, Hollister, Express, etc. jeans. For cheap ones like Wet Seal, Charlotte Russe, etc I don't think they will get much. You will probably get like $15 for 4 pairs of jeans if your lucky. I gave Pac Sun jeans I never wore and some shirts and got $15 I don't know how much they gave me the jeans for though.

How do I remove black stain from silver nitrate?

Thank you Dainis Šķēle for the ( urgent) a2a.It depends allot on which surface.Glass & ceramics, try diluted HNO3.wood, cork, could be a real PITA.skin, also not easy, even on your hands who may have tougher skin then on your face if you try HNO3 diluted with distilled water you may exchange a metal stain with an yellow acid stain, and that can not be removed unless by time or abrasion ( yes painfull). If on skin, first aid, keep it totally out of the sun ( to prevent it from getting darker). But there is still things you could try that were used in wet photographyas fixer solution.A solution of Sodium thiosulfate:It is not a 100% solution, since it is better at dissolving silver salts in a colorless product ( while grey & black spots may already be metallic silver )Sodium thiosulfate - Wikipedia ( read also the medical uses)Where to buy ? In a photo supply shop or a pharmacy; but i see you can even find it on Amazon. If it doesn’t work you can use a product that is sold to remove silver stains from clothing etc and is called Silvosol( ! not “silver sol” that is quit the opposite, that is dissolved silver !))Silvosol is made in Germany by Primus Beier & Co. ( Or see website CarlRoth .com )The only active ingredient, i found out, is : Thio-urea Thiourea - WikipediaMust work pretty good.if you don’t have these products around and can’t wait for delivery, there is still another trick that may work ( again depending on how fresh the stain is, but don’t apply it close to soft and wet body tissues like eyes etc, you don’t want to exchange 1 just aestheticall problem with a real medical (burn) problem.Dilute some household ammonia 1/10 and gently rub the spot. If your lucky the ammonia complexes the silver-salt in a colorless complex, wash afterwards with some soap.Another product that may be used to form a complex with silver is cyanide, but it is a bit dangerous ( highly toxic) to advice people to mess with this on their skin, but it works too. ( so i’m not gonna explain it furtherBut you see a guy try it on his own hands ( and survives it ;-)Of course even if it is right in your face if it is a small round spot, and you don’t have products at hand you can in the meantime cover it with a small sticker-bandage.Hope you’ll find soon the solution for your little grey problem.NFI for all links.disclaimer: as a chemist i work with AgNO3 & HNO3 every day, and i made wet photography chemicals for my dads photo lab back in the 70 & 80ies.

How do you remove a bandage stuck to a wound?

Assuming that the wound was fresh as it needed a bandage, and that the wound will be attempting to scab over, I would wet the bandage with warm water and let it soak the wound for a few minutes before trying to remove it. Doing so dry may result in removal of the scab that's forming or already has formed and in doing so would reopen the wound and prolong healing.
