I want Microsoft Photo Editor - the one they retired, do you know how to get it back?

Don’t get too much attached to any software piece, app or program. Microsoft photo editor will surely not run under a windows 10 Operative system, and I will advice against it, mainly because it belongs to another era.You can’t edit huge files like photos beyond 5 mpx, for instance, or maybe you could, but the app is behind in every other aspect. If you want to run it all the same, then you should get a windows 98 PC with a non-flat display. The other alternative is running a virtual computer running windows 98/2000/xpSo, what’s the alternative then? Is it possible to get MS Photo Editor 3.0.2.3?

It's been discontinued. It has been replaced by Microsoft Office Picture Manager, although some Photo Editor features are not available in Picture Manager.

If GIMP is too complex, there are tons of other free simpler image editors to try that are much better than even the current incarnation of Picture Manager.

The easiest to use is probably Google Picasa 3 http://picasa.google.com/
Paint.NET is nice http://www.getpaint.net

FREE photo editors that fix flyaway hair?

I've already fixed the blemishes on my photo, but I want to be able to smooth out/get rid of the flyaway hair. Are there any free photo editors that are able to do this? I would like it in my browser but a free download is fine with me also.
