Where Would You Put The Odds That History Will Call Obama The Worst President In American History

Why do people say Obama was the worst president in history?

The only way you can consider Obama the worst president in American history is if you don’t know anything about or have never heard of:John Quincy Adams (Stellar diplomat and Congressman; got nothing done as POTUS)William Henry Harrison (Famous for dying a month into his term)Millard Fillmore, Franklin Pierce, and James Buchanan (The do-nothing Presidents who did very little to quell the sectional crisis that would result in Civil War; Buchanan sat idle while seven States seceded)Andrew Johnson (Largely reversed Lincoln’s ideas on Reconstruction; was impeached by the House of Representatives)Warren G. Harding (An abundance of scandals both personal and political; the enacting of the disastrous Prohibition era)Calvin Coolidge (Continuation of above, minus the adultery)Herbert Hoover (Two words: Great Depression)Richard Nixon (One word: Watergate. Whatever his other accomplishments, Nixon left a stain on the office that remains to this day)Gerald Ford (Most famous for falling down repeatedly and pardoning the above)Jimmy Carter (Disastrous response to the Iran hostage crisis, OPEC and economic fears)George W. Bush (September 11 attacks, disastrous wars in Iraq and Afghanistan begin on his watch, all with deep tax cuts that result in the worst recession since the 1930s)

Was Richard Nixon the worst president in US history to you? I will tell you my reasons why I think so, do you agree?

Nixon supported American troops to go to Vietnam to enforce democracy in a territory that was not ours. 100,000 + American lives were lost as a result.
Another reason: Nixon criminalized marijuana and put it on schedule 1 on federally banned substances. Marijuana was classified (because of Nixon) as just as illegal as Heroin and Cocaine. Marijuana harms no one in death toll. Legal Alcohol, and Tobacco causes thousands of deaths annually as result.
Finally; I think Nixon was a horrible president because he got caught doing criminal activity. There was a Water Gate scandal where Nixon hired goons to break into democrat territory to steal prelection secrets. Nixon got caught, and is a crook. Anything that he put down in American history as law should be reversed as a result.
If you disagree that Nixon was the worse president in history; who do you think was the worse?

Will Obama go down as one of the best presidents in American history?

Yes.He succeeded where many presidents have failed: creating a national healthcare system: some of the most effective presidents of the 20th century tried and failed: Truman, Nixon, Clinton, whatever you think of their politics or character, these were three of the most effective presidents in American history. He also put policies into place that helped the American economy weather and recover from the Great Recession. In addition, he made steps toward normalizing relations with Cuba and Iran and was in office when the navy seals caught and killed Osama Bin Laden. But most of all, he is sandwiched between two of the worst presidents in American history. Okay I might be exaggerating for W. he was bad, but not necessarily one of the worst. But Trump is an unmitigated embarrassment. He will be the Hoover to Obama's Roosevelt. His policies are entirely aimed at making liberals squirm. Where Obama ias interested in making sound policies and running a world super power.

Why is Obama the most protected President in the history of the office?

Because he has more to hide, and the fact that he is surrounded in scandal proves it.

Years from now, US history will tell of our First Black President never given the chance to lead due to racists whites, sad huh?

Which goes even further by saying that now these racists whites wanted to undo everything he's done and shout he destroyed and divided America by voting for the biggest con man alive.

What place in history president Barack H. Obama will take (1-best, 44-worst)?

Right now he is ranked somewhere between 10 and 14 based on a study that used influence and other contributions as a measurement.  However, once he no longer has control of the Executive Branch, specifically the Justice Department, IRS, EPA, USCIS (immigration), and a few others, the truth will start to come out just how corrupt and incompetent Obama's presidency has been. That is unless another Democrat is elected. Then it will just be a continuation of the coverups. Obama is destined to be one of the worst presidents in history - if the truth comes out about what he has done and what he has had the government do since he has been in office.

Who was the best president in US history?

There have been several polls taken among historians who study this kind of stuff, and almost all have put Lincoln, Washington, and FDR at the top of the list. Almost universally Lincoln is recognized as the best. Not only did he hold the Union together during, by far, it's most turbulent period, he influenced people who hated him, didn't want to fight, didn't mind slavery, and wanted to see the Union dissolve. Lincoln manged Washington DC, the War, and Politics with a skill unmatched in history. Plus he was our most eloquent speaker. Washington and the Founding Fathers may have given a head and body to our nation, but Lincoln give it It's soul.

There is far more discussion regarding the worst. Most people put Hoover down due to his complete ineptitude at handling the Depression. Nixon is a mixed bag, brilliant at politics and diplomacy, but insanely miserable judgment. Harrison was president for about 30 days. His one distinction is having the longest, most boring inaugural speech in history. Tyler was a prick. Jackson did some great things but legalized the murder of Native Americans. Harding was just dumber than dirt and everyone around him manipulated him for their own gain. The four of five presidents before Lincoln, for doing everything they could to ensure that, when slavery did end, its death would be bloody, horrific, and the absolute worst outcome possible. Buchanan has to top that list. It's too early to say about modern presidents - in all likelihood, Reagan will be ranked high, GHW Bush medium-high, Clinton medium-low (see Nixon and the judgment thing) and GW Bush, low.
