Is the Philippines dangerous for a white guy?

If it were, then all the whit guys here would have been mugged, robbed, or killed. And there would be no one left.

But there are still lots and lot of them, and I guess they are not wearing bullet-proof vests either, and are not surrounded by bodyguards. What is common among them, I think, is that they all keep their heads on their shoulders, and try to fit in. And they don't consider the locals as robbers and muggers. Thus they are able to live well and roam around freely.

When you come here, just do what is sensible - - what is sensible here is what's also sensible if you should travel to Italy, to Bangladesh, to China, or to 42nd Street.

Make sure you look and act friendly, so the locals will not be intimidated and will be helpful. You just might enjoy the local culture so much that you will extend your visit.

Welcome to our country.

By the way, you may want to travel vicariously even while you have not set foot here, thru my travel blog:

What's the best place in the Philippines that you've visited so far?

Gigantes Island in Iloilo (there is no electricity but the resort has power generator and no signal for your phone)You can stay here for 200 php per night Climb up and see this beautiful view from the top or swim in this majestic blue water eat cheap sea foods for as low as 20 php per meal visit this historical place during Spanish era in Philippines you will walk in different colours of sea shells and its free to take some home You can explore the caves (north face team went to explore some of the caves in this island  though I've heard from the tour guide they did not finish exploring all the caves) after exploring this cave and reaching the top you'd feel like you conquer the world( I was just on flip flops and t-shirt equipped with slippery rope and i thought I was going to die but here I am alive and writing). You can walk on this during low tide ( people are very friendly , almost everyone their would give you a beautiful smile)you can explore other islands too like this snake island.

I'm taking a trip to the Philippines, where is the best place to find beautiful ladyboys?

Fags are everywhere in the Philippines. I see them in almost every barber shop and in so many other places. There are lots of queer bars all over the place. It is more difficult to find someone that is straight. Being queer is an open thing here and I see them on the street putting their lip stick on. There is no AIDS here so it is safe for you to do open sex on them .

What are some beautiful places to visit in the Philippines which no one except locals know about?

Thanks for the A2A.When ask about the tourist destinations here in the Philippines, you’ll often hear about the Islands of Boracay, Palawan and Coron (Busuanga Island), others will also tell you about Siargao (a hidden gem before but a lot of people already know it now) but there are still a lot of places out here that only the locals know, and in my limited experience, here’s a list in no particular order. The Pink beach in Brgy. Sila, San Vicente Island, Northern Samar (Pink Beach in Northern Samar - EV Learners), not a lot of people know about it, even Filipinos. There are also white beach resorts in the adjacent island (San Antonio Island)Guisi Beach in the island of Guimaras (Guisi Beach and Lighthouse - Explore Iloilo), you’ll see the old influence of the Spanish here in the PhilippinesNagsasa cove, Anawangin Cove and Capones Cove in the province of Zambales (NAGSASA COVE: Travel Guide (Budget + Itinerary) 2018 - The Pinay Solo Backpacker). If you love sleeping on a tent, you can try that too here.Laswitan Lagoon in Cortes, Surigao Del Sur (An Ocean Waterfall ? Life is Sweet in Laswitan!) its in Mindanao. Not a lot of people know about this lagoon and its also a little hard to find. There are many others, but there are the places that I’ve been. There are hidden falls in many remote areas, hidden places good for trekking. But, I haven’t seen them so I can’t vouch for them.

Where is the best pizza in Manila, Philippines?

having already tried and enjoyed pizza in Italy, as well as in the US (in New York, New Haven, and Chicago), let me add my humble opinion:i think the most "Italian" pizzas are in:- Caffe Puccini, The Fort- Caffe Caruso, Makatithe panizza at My Kitchen by Chef Chris in Manila is also really good. i haven't tried the other pizzas so i don't know how good the place is overall. but the panizza alone is already worth the time and effort. :)i've also heard many good things about Bellini's in Cubao although i haven't tried it yet.the "NY" style pizzas i really like are:- Yellow Cab (various branches)- Brooklyn Pizza (various branches; there are a few duds here though - i found their 4 cheese to be weird)as for NYPD (The Podium, Ortigas Center), i've heard many good things and got to visit one time. unfortunately, i didn't like what i had. but because it's only one visit, i'm not counting this place out yet and look forward to trying their other pizzas.i tried Joey Pepperoni a couple of times and really didn't find anything i liked. i'm probably wouldn't recommend the ff. restos as "pizza places", but i also had a great experience with some of their stuff:- the Italian section in Spiral, Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Manila is surprisingly good despite the fact that it's in a hotel buffet- the deep dish in Sbarro (various branches) gave almost the same level of satisfaction as the ones in Chicago :)- i also found enjoyable the Pepperoni Crrrunch at Shakey's (various branches) :D- the stuffed crust pizzas in Pizza Hut is also quite enjoyable-----my personal favorite is Yellow Cab pizza. :) don't get me wrong - the authentic Italian pizzas are really good. it's just that eating something that's "gourmet" gets tiring after a while. Yellow Cab is a happy medium between the gourmet pizzas and the fast food ones. :) tips i got from a friend who used to work there: - what i usually get: get the New York Classic (pepperoni pizza) and add an additional topping of pepperoni. :D - for vegetarians: the Garden Special w/ a topping of shrimp- artery clogging choice: Manhattan Meatlovers w/ extra topping of sausages, mushrooms, and ham/pepperoni (NO, im not kidding; YES, i've tried it)bon appetit!
