Depends if you’re asking about plastic model kits or metal die-cast display cars.For plastic kits, I believe 1:24 / 1:25 are most popular.For die-cast display cars, the majority that I own are 1:18.2 scales you fail to mention, the first being 1:32 which is popular among slot car racers. Probably most popular of all is 1:64 which is the scale of Hot Wheels , Johnny Lightning, Auto World, Greenlight brands among others.1:43 is an oddball size to me. I do not own any.1:48 is more popular for other diecast vehicles besides cars.

Laura, you will never get a consensus on that one. Like music, we all tend to relate to the songs of our youth and young adulthood era. The same is true with cars. For me, the greatest auto America ever made was a 1958 Chevy Impala Supersport convertible with lowering g blocks, fender skirts and a continental rear end extension with matching painted wheel cover holder. (fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror and seat belts hadn’t been invented yet. Cruising through the drive in with the top down on a warm summer evening with Elvis blasting from the radio while lookin’ fer chicks’. It just don’t get no better, no how! And I bet 50 people will have equally strong and different opinions! LOL
What would a society be like with mandatory concealed carry, meaning every citizen is required to carry a pistol at all times?
Wow.. that would be catastrophically dangerous, and not because of violence.The average person can't keep their car in their own lane, use a turn signal, or respond to anything further away than a car length if they even bother to notice. They are hurling a 5000 lb piece of metal down a road at speeds that can all but liquefy a body if struck, with no effective training or skill, or comprehension of the physics involved.The usual consumer will buy 3 of an inferior product that cost half the price each of the proper product, just to “save” money. They do this with anything from cookware, to brakes on their car, or health care without any regaurd to the end consequence. Wallmart... Kaiser Permanente… Jiffy lube…And your typical citizen truly has no respect or care for the lives of those around them if no one is looking. They hide behind computer screen cursing obscenities and threats, and hide in their little glass and steel bubble on the road and use their vehicle to take what they want at the expense of those around them.And our leaders… wow… a goup of the most blatantly corrupt, morally bankrupt, and self ingratiating low lifes who have the nerve to pass laws restricting the freedoms of their constituents on the basis that the politician is more qualified in making an ethical decision than individuals they represent…Now, make them all carry firearms.They will have no comprehension of how to do so safely for themselves or those around them, they will buy cheap garbage that fires when it shouldn't and won't when it should, and operate under governance that has no concept of owning the consequences of their actions.On second thought.. it just might thin the herd, just enough.
