Which 2 Wide Recievers Should I Start

Is it smart to start two wide receivers on the same team in fantasy?

it all depends really on who they are playing but generally no. it's very rare that two WRs on the same team have both huge games because now in the nfl , usually one WR and one TE on the same team will get most of the throws. it's just not consistent enough because QBs will either feed the ball to one guy or spread it all around like brees. so my answer is no.

Out of the 3 receivers which 2 should I start Terrance Williams, rueben randle or Brandon Lafell?

Randle and williams

Can wide receivers get tackled without the ball?

Depends how you define the term “tackled” - a strict definition is you can only be tackled if you’re a ball carrier; otherwise you’re only an eligible receiver and there are strict limits on where you can legally make contact with one of those. In both the college and pro game, defensive backs are allowed to bump or jam receivers after the start of a play, providing it’s done within five yards of the line of scrimmage and before the pass is thrown. After that (i.e the receiver’s past that five yard zone), any contact is judged illegal and will draw a penalty flag unless it happens a fraction of a second before the pass arrive at the receiver and the DB covering him is making a play on the ball (i.e he’s looking back at the ball and trying to catch it himself or knock it down). Any contact made then would be ruled incidental and wouldn’t be flagged (as the DB is just as entitled to catch the ball as the wideout). But if the DB isn’t looking at the ball (i.e he hits or grabs the receiver to avoid giving up a long catch or even a TD), then that’s certainly illegal and will draw a pass interference penalty (spot foul, automatic first down at point of infraction unless in end zone, when ball is spotted at the one yard line). The other way a DB could get away with it would be timing his hit so that he makes contact with the receiver just as he catches the ball, knocking it loose for an incompletion or turnover. That again wouldn’t draw a flag.

Should I start Pierre Garcon (vs Cin.) or Brandon LaFell (vs NYG) for week 3?

Bradon LaFell is the biggest underrated wide receive next to Danny Amendola right now. I just answered another question and ill say the same thing, I told everyone that Brandon LaFell needed to be a starter in everyones team from week 1. He is the #2 wide receiver on the catching end of a FANTASTIC quarter back. Plus, he has the same talent as steve smith does. Stats do the talking and LaFell has found the end zone each game so far. Its not because he was open persay, it was because Cam trusts him enough to give him those opportunities. The crazy coach for the Redskins doesnt know what the hell he is doing. Him and RGIII are too worried about all these "designed" plays for RGIII to run. Im still not on the Garcon wagon because he was horrid last year also. LaFell will get his own week after week until they come across a team who double teams him and leaves steve smith for the one on one.

Torn between which WR to start?

Stedman Bailey, Kenny Stills, Charles Johnson, Keenan Allen, and Julio Jones. Julio and Kenny I believe are must starts but I'm torn between Stedman Bailey putting up consistent numbers along with Keenan Allen against Patriots defense who have shut down T.Y Hilton, Calvin Johnson and more. Whereas Charles Johnson is matched up against the Jets and is getting the start. Which 4/5 wide receivers should I start?

Coles, Hester, and/or Royal are my fantasy football wide outs?! Which of the three should I start this week?

VERY VERY EASY ANSWER

Start Coles because Brett Favre is a monster and will be throwing a lot this week.

The main reason you should start him is not because of what he can do, its what the others won't

1.) Brandon Marshall is coming back for Denver. He was a huge target in the preseason and Royal just had one good week because Marshall was suspended. Plus the Raiders defense was horrible and the chargers secondary is much better.

2.) Hester is not much of a receiving threat as just a punt/kick return threat. And since the teams have been kicking away from him, he won't get a chance to break one deep. Don't trust him for any wide out points.

Good Luck
