Which Action Designed To Oppose A Political Or Business Policy Is Closet To The Approach Used By

What is a good foreign policy dealing with mexico?

Since Mexico does not want to help alleviate the problem, I think that we should sanction Mexico first of all. Then we should make it illegal to hire illegal aliens and litigate any one that does hire them. Mexico actually has people on the boarder that instruct illegals on how to sneak across the boarder. I think that any Mexican military that cross our boarders should be either killed or captured. And yes, they have crossed our boarder in Arizona several times. And have shot at our police, and they have bigger guns than our police do.The Arizona police think that they are doing so to smuggle drugs across. We should stop all American trade and all American citizens from crossing the boarder and buying there products. Then they would be forced to stop the crossings by illegals them selves. The USA is the largest money maker for that country. And if we do not do something soon, they will take over by shear numbers by electing their own people to office. They already vote even though they are illegal.

Which action designed to oppose a political or business policy is closet to the approach used by Martin Luthei?

What qualities define a great team leader?

The best leaders are those who can lead and direct without misuse of their power. They must be able to inspire others in a direction or greater good. They must be strong enough to stand firm in decision making and leading others without an egotistical attitude. A great team leader will encourage others to brain storm and contribute to the whole. They also lead by example and intelligently. They are also good listeners. Charisma helps a team leader.

What is Mr. Narendra Modi's opinion about the reservation system in India?

Giving little more context. Reservations in India were introduced to up-bring the weaker sections, minorities and bring the equanimity of all sections of people in the society.Though many say that Dr. Ambedkar had introduced it with an expiry date due to the vastness of the country, illiteracy… this could not be achieved. Later on due to Vote bank politics this was always used as trump card to win and also extend it to other groups. There should be some benchmark and an yardstick to review and revise. Considering the progress we had made and political awareness of the current generations there is a strong voice being raised. We all know the old meme’s that used to circulate across the world. But the current generation is talking more about the deserve, qualification not just reservations. But the general mood is that to revise them. When the current government introduced “Give up Gas Subsidy” scheme. People also felt that why not “Give up Reservation”It does make sense, how many generations will enjoy this reservations? Restrict the utilization of ReservationGenerationsFamily level - like only one person can useIndividual/Age level - use the reservation either for studies or getting job not for bothNow back to the main question “Will Modi’s Government touch the Reservations in India?”I guess they will definitely touch. If not removing them they will definitely review and revise them. But I don’t think this is going to happen in this 2014–2019 time frame. For that they need to show the followingImprove the literacyImprove the living standardsThrough good governance make everyone accountable, employableWe can expect some action but not immediately or not in the current tenure!

Do politicians listen to IAS/IPS officers?

Are you kidding me?From Swachha Bharat to GST, from Ujwala yojana to demonetization, every single idea and every single scheme is the brain child of these Civil servants. Why won't Politicians listen to them? They can't afford to ignore Civil servants. It is an open secret that in actual, bureaucrats run the Government.Politicians may out of their ego pretend to not care about bureaucrats. But they know that driver of their Government is bureaucracy and hence take them very seriously.Do you think people like Lalu Yadav could run the Indian railways?Or people like Rabri devi could lead a state?Or the acronyms and fresh ideas in Modi's speeches are all his thoughts?Even our Constitution's first draft was made by a civil servant. B.N. RauThe person behind Sardar Patel's success in uniting India was a civil servant. V.P. Menon. The one who exposed UPA regime, after which NDA came in power, was also a Civil servant. Vinod Rai.The man who is said to be number two in Modi Government. Ajit Doval,IPS.You can understand the importance of a civil servant that Modi brought an ordinance especially to appoint Principal secretary of his choice. Nripendra Misra.Hence, Civil servants are part and parcel of the Government and Politician do listen to them. Thanks for reading.

How are policies made in India? Since most IAS officers don't have advanced degrees like PhD, why do they make policies? Shouldn't the policy work be left to academicians who have deep knowledge, insight and expertise in their respective fields?

Your question reminds me an interesting incident from my life.I joined PhD in IIITM Gwalior in 2002. I wanted to do my PhD in the area of E-Governance. However, I was not very clear about the exact topic of my research.Once I was discussing with one of my friends the possible topic for my PhD work. He advised me to meet one of my seniors Mr Prabhat Kumar, who was also doing PhD from IIT Delhi in the area of E-Governance.Next time I visited Delhi, I called on Mr Prabhat Kumar, who was then posted as an ADG in Directorate of System (CBEC) Delhi. He asked me what possible topics are considered by me for my PhD.I gave him a long list of topics like automation of processes, decision-making, online assessment and payment etc.He patiently heard me and then said, ‘Awdhesh. You are trying to drink the ocean of knowledge. PhD is not about learning everything. It is about drinking only a drop of ocean or even better only ‘half a drop. You do your PhD in a highly specialized area. You must focus on just a small area for your PhD.”His PhD area within E-Governance was on ‘Change Management’.Thereafter, I focused on only one area for my PhD work and it was on the topic of ‘Using Artificial Intelligence based Decision Support System in Customs Assessment’.I am narrating the incident to explain that PhD holders know very little outside their area of expertise. Even after their PhD, their future work is mostly around that area of specialization. I know a large number of Professors personally and I know their ability to understand the complex business of policy making which influences a large number of people in different fields of life.Civil servants may not be PhDs, but they are brilliant scholars and graduates. Many of them are post graduates. They work with wide section of the society during their field posting before they are posted in the Ministries where the policies are made. They know how the government functions and policies are made.Let academicians do their own jobs of teaching and researching and let the civil servants do their job of administration and policy making.

Liberalism? Conservative? What do these really mean?

Wow...good job! Pretty much sums it up and yeah...prepare to be attacked with namecalling. I'm sure they are on their way!
