Glow In The Dark Contact Lenses Questions?
Do they REALLY glow in the dark or its just a fancy nick name for it? Can they come in your prescription or so you "have" to have perfect eye sight for them?
Do they make glow in the dark contacts?
I've been looking on quite a few websites, yet I can't find one that actually had working glow in the dark contacts. The ones that look normal and will glow in the dark not special UV or disco/rave lights. If you know of a website, or a place, that would be great? (I know there was a similiar question posted by hsmstam, I'm looking for the same thing as them, but they're answer wasn't exactly what is very helpful, thank you)
Safe for UV LED to light up eyes?
Hi Everyone, I'm working on a Halloween costume, but I need some advice. I found these cool eye contacts with patterns that glow under UV light. http://www.foureyez.com/special-effects-contact-lenses/i-glow-white-swirl-uv-contact-lenses-pair.html Now, I doubt the parties I'm going to will guarantee to have a UV source, so I wanted my costume to include the UV emitter by mounting it into the brim of a hat. They make UV emitting LEDs, but I'm concerned about eye safety. I obviously wouldn't orient the LEDs directly into my eyes; instead I'd point the LEDs upwards into the hat and let the UV light diffuse downwards. However, I don't know if this will be enough to make it 'safe.' Not sure where to ask, so I figured I would see what the Yahoo community has to say! Thanks.
