Should I get an Iphone or a Samsung Galaxy phone?
I'm glad there is someone who's saving up to buy a new phone. The iPhone meets the good camera part and it functions better than a Galaxy phone. (I've actually had both). The iPhone will more than likely outlast the Galaxy phone unless there is a flaw. The Galaxy phones that have been using the Unibody (since the s6) frame aren't as good as the older ones that had the removable battery. The thing is an iPhone is not cheap and it doesn't have the same potential storage capacity as the Galaxy Phones. If you shop around and wait then you will find deals on the s8 that will make it much cheaper. Also, you can add an SD card to the S8 which would give it significantly more storage capacity than an iPhone. With the iPhone, you would have to find a way to manage your files through another computer. Both the iphone 8,8plus, and X along with the Galaxy series starts out with 64gb of storage space. With the iPhone, you can pay an extra $150 for the 256gb model. ***Battery. None of my Galaxy phones compared to my iPhones in terms of battery life. This is mostly due to iOS running leaner and not coming with Bloatware apps that can't be deleted unless you root the phone. What you need to do is take precautions that keep and maintain good battery life. Don't use Quickcharge or Quickcahrging. This heats the battery up. Charge the battery when it reaches 35% to 40% Avoid Google Chrome Only charge to 95% to 97%. Use low battery mode whenever possible Do what you can to keep the phone from overheating, such as dialing down screen brightness. Heat kills the battery Please keep in mind that the s9 is in full production and it will more than likely be out within 6-10 weeks. You're not going to find a discount on the s9 for quite some time but at least the Galaxy s8 would see a pricecut, and carriers may offer other discounts. Often times, with major carriers like Verizon, you can get a big discount by putting the phone on a payment plan. 2 years ago I bought the Galaxy s6 on sale at a Verizon store via the device payment plan. They let me put a down payment on the Galaxy S6 which dropped my monthly payment down to $4 a month.
Hard reset a Samsung Galaxy S3?
Hi, Can you try these two things: Turning phone off, Pressing the home and volume up buttons and hold them. Well holding them, press and hold the power button till the screen turns on. That should boot it fi recovery mode. If that doesn't work, try doing the same, but with the volume down key instead of volume up, that should boot it to download mode. If you manage to boot to recovery, select wipe data, and select yes. If you can boot to download mode, its a little more complicated. But if you Google "flash ROM Odin galaxy s3" you should find lots of guides. If the basic system apps are missing, I think the guy must have rooted the device (gained access to the system files,). If that's the case, the second option above is the only way to restore them. If none of the above work, I think the phone must be broken (hence the good deal ). Samsung galaxy phone data usage question?
HI OK I AM FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW. I just got a phone a few weeks ago that's a Samsung galaxy s3 mini and I started using apps like facebook, candy crush, and internet. Today I pressed data usage to see what it was and I freaked out because it said that I had used 200KB of data. I only use facebook when it's connected to wifi and when im outside and I try to use facebook it will say network error and not upload. I wont get notifications and I cant search online. so basically I don't use data right? It even says there is some data for messageign (texting) and candy crush. But you don't need data for those things??? I pressed it to see why and it says 'backround data' was used. Still how on earth do you use data for texting and candy crush? WHY DOES IT SAY IN DATA USAGE THAT I HAVE USED DATA Please help and don't troll please. I just got this phone and I'm really scared my parents are going to kill me for using data accidentally. Adjusting the sensitivity of the Samsung Galaxy S3 volume buttons ?
Hi just wondering if there is anyway of adjusting the sensitivity of the Samsung Galaxy S3 side volume buttons or an alternative solution to the problem I'm facing below...... I keep accidentally pressing the volume button and either turn the phone to silent (when I need it loud) Or Accidentally turning to loud when I need it silent. Very frustrating any ideas/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
