Which Is More Likely To Get Somebody Legally Obligated To Pay Child Support

How can homeless people pay child support?

It's doable, depends on whether or not they are working. What's your angle here? Try to be more specific on what information you want.

Should child support obligations be based on the biological?

Should be based on income, allowing for rent and utilites only. Thats all thats fair. If that person has remarried, and his/her spouse works too, then they should only allow a half for rent and utilities..

I'm Legally Disabled - CHILD SUPPORT?

YES, you have to pay. Welcome to the man's world. It doesn't matter if you have enough to live on or not. It doesn't matter if you can work or not. This is what all you women wanted, cried for, and schemed for. More child support regardless of the fairness to both parties. So welcome to the real world of child support and you can thank your fellow single parent money hungry mother's out there for the fact that YOU will not be allowed to keep enough money to survive on because the majority will go to child support. It don't have to be fair or reasonable, and it isn't, BUT YOU WILL PAY IT regardless of being disabled or any thing else.

Do I have to pay child support if I am under 18 and still with my girlfriend?

My girlfriend and I are expecting a baby early January. Obviously we are still together, but we are both 17. I have a part time job, but barely get any hours. Does anyone know if I will end up having to pay child support, and if so how much will I (or my parents?) have to pay? Basically, I have no idea how any of this works. If someone who is familiar or knowledgeable about this kind of thing and could explain it to me fairly well, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, if it goes by state or anything, I live in Indiana just so you know.

Why won't my ex pay child support?

My estranged husband is freaking nuts. He left me 7 mos ago and lives a life without morals, he also lives with his mom; who also has no morals.

I filed for divorce in October, and have a new man now. The divorce has not gone to court, except to try and waive the filing fees; which didn't work.

We had a meeting with the Attorney General's office, who in Tx handles child support. He deliberately did not show up. I have not received a dime of child support since September and the OAG says that I won't until my divorce is finalized...

No one is trying! He hasn't even been served! But he went to court to see about the filing fees, which he shouldn't have been @!

I hired this paralegal, who's dad is a lawyer off Craigslist. The dad is in good standing with the bar, and the paralegal was supposed to do my divorce. Nothing has been done! He has done nothing... The divorce petition was sent to the courts, obviously....

But nothing else. Shouldn't I have been divorced by now, filed Oct 22. 60 days divorces are final in Tx. We have one baby together.
