Which Is The Best Country To Study And Settle Down

Which country is the best for an Indian to settle down? Any pros and cons to discuss?

Before answering this, one needs to understand what're they looking for in life. A basic comfort, typical 9–5 job, social security, safety, health & medical for family then countries with socialist outlook works the best for them, like Norway, Sweden, Canada, Netherlands, Ireland, Finland etc. Whereas ambitious people with entrepreneurial goals, who're more into risk taking, aim bigger and better than even average citizens of the respective country, one has to look deep into Government policies(not socialist mindset), immigration laws etc.India - I call it home still, it's still the best place to live for any and all Indians. Plus if all of us move to another and just one country, just imagine?U.S - Second choice, I used to travel on regular basis, lived in Los Angeles, one time was flying back to LA from a busy work week, on a plane an old white guy sort of conservative looking next to me asks me, “Are you also heading home Son?”. Tell me one country where it's citizen or native will ask this to an Indian? You’ll find everything imaginable in this country, overall very accepting, gives you an opportunity to be an entrepreneur, be the leader in the companies like Microsoft, Google and many more, this is by far cannot be matched by any nation. Remember things aren't cheap here, especially health benefits are not free for public.Canada - Third Choice, very accepting, humble, helping and very friendly people, huge Indian community especially Punjabi’s, feels like you’re in Punjab if you’re in Toronto, health service and human development index is even better than U.S. Immigration is far easier than complex U.S. Only issue is you cannot make it as big as you can in US, even Canadians come to U.S for that.Japan - Fourth choice, a wonderful place to live for anyone, for Indians too. You’ll find many helping people, very secure, no racism, awesome food but very expensive and everything is small. The biggest problem is work culture, there’s a reason Japan is among the most unhappiest nation.Singapore - Fifth choice, safe, secure, good community, accepting, you can find all the luxury to anything Indian there but Chinese or Malay do not interfere or indulge in socializing with Indians much, usually I’ve noticed Indian’s socialize among themselves too, if that’s you then Singapore is nice.I’m not too sure about Europe yet, I’ve to explore and be there long enough in order to include that in the list here.

Which country is best to study MBA and settle in, in New Zealand, Canada or Australia?

There is no straight answer to this, the bugbear of every wannabe Corporate hot-shot.. ‘Where do I go’. I was searching for an answer to this myself and went no-where (although I managed to get PR from both Canada and Australia, I decided against an MBA but that’s a story for another day). MBA is like a choosing a wife, choose the correct one and its a life of bliss, make a mistake and boy.. you are screwed. Now coming back to your question, so whats your story ?What are you looking for ? Fame, Money, Peace or a bit of everything..Lets explore your options but first lets get New Zealand out of the equation because even though they have some good B-schools (read Univ of Otago B-school) the job market is pretty limited besides if you settle down in Australia you can always explore options to work there.Canada the land of maple syrup, among these three it is the big daddy of B-schools with 4–5 pretty damn hot schools and if you are between the ages of 26–30 then this is the country you need to go. If you manage to get a good school and pay off your loan then your career graph will skyrocket. Due to the proximity of US and also GTA region being a financial power-house, consulting, tech., banking, public sector, IT, you name it you got it. So if you are young and raring to go and want to have a fantastic career especially in the Fintech or Consulting then go to Canada.Australia, a land like no other. I chose this county so my answer maybe a bit biased. The interesting thing about this country is the tall poppy syndrome. Its dosen’t matter who you are are what your credentials are as long as you get the job done. It does not matter where you got your MBA from was it at Newcastle or Wollongong as long as you get the job done. AGSM and Univ of Melb are the two good B-schools here but are pretty damn expensive. You can have a fantastic albeit a little limited career here but will have an equally fantastic work-life balance not to mention the pay cheque that you get even after the tax cut is pretty hefty. Add to that generous welfare benefits and mandatory super fund for retirement you are pretty much set for life. Here’s the catch, getting a P.R after an MBA in Australia is a little difficult compared to Canada because the politicians in Australia are now waking up to the reality that controlled but targeted immigration measures coupled with incentives to the local population to have kids is a much better option.

Which country is best to study and settle down for an Indian among US, Canada and Germany?

Hey there!Quality-wise, US, Canada and Germany, all three are good countries for pursuing masters abroad. That said, let me break it down country-wise.US: the US comes on top as a destination for international students. Majority of students opt for a master's program in the US, because of its post-study options and standard of living. The US offers a large number of internships and assistantships for international students and the quality of education is up to the mark. But when it comes to settling down in the US, I don't see a hassle-free experience. Getting PR in the US is a long and hectic procedure. Visa applications take months to come through and that creates problems for accommodation and in job connections. If you are sure about settling abroad, you might want to make a safer bet.Top 100 Universities in United States | YocketCANADA: Canada is, by far, the most affordable destination for an international student to pursue masters. The top universities in Canada are also ranked among the top 100 universities of the world. The MS program offered are cheap in financial nature but that does not degrade the quality of education.Students opt for Canada because the PR residency is not as big of an issue in Canada as it is in the US. Canada is called migration-friendly country and the tag is well-earned.100 Universities in Canada | YocketGERMANY: Germany is an emerging hotspot for international students because of its program facility and PR residency. Germany offers a wide range of degrees, taught in both German languages as well as English for international students.PR residency is easier to get in Germany than in the US. The only catch is that you need to the knowledge and fluency in the German language to settle in Germany but that becomes a given when you choose a foreign country.Universities in Germany | YocketIn conclusion, all of the three listed countries offer good and rich quality programs. But if come hell or high water, you want to settle abroad then you might want to consider your options between Canada and Germany.Hope this helps!!
