Which laptop would you recommend?

Honestly, Civ V at least doesn’t require very much power at all, and I find it quite playable on my crappy ivy bridge notebook that I use when I need a laptop, even though it only runs at 8–15 fps. However, it would obviously be a better experience if you had a better laptop constructed more for gaming. So I will recommend the only laptop I know of that is “gaming” focused “below” $800: The Dell Inspiron Gaming 7000. It is, technically, below $800(and you get a whole extra cent!) However, that money gets you a discrete GPU, which, despite the fact that it is just a 1050 Ti, is much better than any integrated graphics will likely be for years. Anything more demanding than Civ V will probably need something along these lines to be playable, especially any game that isn’t turn based. Hope this helped!

The minimum configuration that would last for at least 4-5 years should be:Processor : Intel 5th gen Core i5 RAM          : 8 GB DDR3 ( Don't settle for less than this)Storage     : Either get 1 TB HDD or 256 GB SSD (SSD will be expensive but will increase your speed.)Screen Size : 13" (Unless you want to be a graphic designer I would suggest you to get 13'' as 15'' are usually bulky and are less portable.)OS              : Windows 8.1(Most softwares are designed for windows operating system. You can easily get most of linux distributions for free and install them on your own. Buying Windows OS separetly would be a costly affair as the one you get preinstalled is slightly subsidised.)Other parts are pretty much standard. Make sure to get the latest model as it will have support for longer duration. Try to get your warranty extended as laptops are prone to failure after a year or so and parts are pretty expensive.

What brand of laptop would u recommend?

Different brands are ment for different uses. Example, mac are used for buisness while asus and msi are ment for gaming. If you want a good laptop that will last you long, i will recommend Asus and Msi. Asus and msi will beat all of the laptop that you have listed in performance/speed.

Which kind of laptop do you recommend?

Okay there are already a lot of questions similar to this out there but I was wondering if anybody could give me specific advice. So my current computer is pretty crappy and I really need to get a new one. What I'm wondering is what kind of brand/specific type of laptop you recommend?

-I mostly just browse the internet on my laptop but I also play my sims games and I'd prefer a laptop with a webcam
-Also I'm not looking to spend like $800 on it I want something a little more reasonable and less fancy so nothing above $500? (cheaper is preferred)

What brand laptop do you recommend?

While you may see headlines about devices like the latest MacBook Pro, it turns out you don't need to spend thousands to get a decent computer — especially if you're using it for things like word processing, web browsing, and emailing. While you may see headlines about devices like the latest MacBook Pro, it turns out you don't need to spend thousands to get a decent computer — especially if you're using it for things like word processing, web browsing, and emailing.Of course, there are quite a few things to consider in purchasing a new laptop. After all, they're pretty complex machines. Here's a quick rundown of the features to look for when you make your choice.Operating System: There are a few major computer operating systems out there. You're probably most familiar with Windows, as its by far the most popular operating system, but there's also Apple's macOS, which is also very capable. Finally, there's Google's Chrome OS, which is a little more targeted to those with basic computer needs who like the idea of being able to use some Android apps on their computer and are plugged into Google's ecosystem and web apps. We're not including any computers with macOS on this list because there aren't any that would fall under the "budget laptop" distinction of costing $500 or less.Specs: Some computers are more powerful than others. Things like the processor and amount of RAM will dictate how quickly your computer runs, while the amount of storage indicates how many files you can keep on your computer at once.Size: Laptops come in a range of different sizes, however, the smaller ones generally sit in the 10- to 11-inch range, while the larger ones can get as big as 17-inches. That's handy for watching movies, but it comes at the cost of portability. Then, of course, there's cost. For this guide, we consider a "budget" laptop to be a laptop that costs about $600 or less. However, if you can afford to spend more than that, you will be able to get something more powerful and arguably better than the computers on this list.

Which laptop brand would you recommend most to a casual user?

Hi thanks for asking! i would recommend that you buy the brand that has a support & service near you. When you need warranty support the most tedious thing is to call de 1800-xxx-xxxx and after an hour of booting, rebooting, reinstalling they tell you: “Please send us your equipment, i’m sending a prepay fedex label to your email, print it and package carefully, after 2 work week you will hear from us”.So in my experience buy the brand with support near you.
