Which Of These Should I Buy For A 30 Year Old Man

As a 27-year old man, which Rolex should I be eyeing to buy?

Looking at your question, I suppose this would be your first Rolex or even “good” watch. Your choice should definitely go to the most versatile option available. From my perspective, I would be considering two options depending on your lifestyle. The dressier option. I would go by the Rolex Datejust 41 126334. This watch embodies all what makes Rolex… Rolex! You’ll have the movement 3235 running at -2 / +2 seconds per day, the Oyster bracelet, a date window with the cyclop and a gorgeous blue dial. While this is a dressier watch, it still has this sporty look making it versatile and that you will be able to wear on any occasion. The dial plays very nicely with the light, so does the case made of 904L steel, you’ll find yourself looking at your watch for no reason! The sportier option. The Rolex GMT 116710BLNR nicknamed “The Batman”. The GMT is a Rolex icon and I would recommend this version that is really appreciated amongst the watch community. The Submariner was my first Rolex but I would rather recommend you a GMT as you will still have a watch with a high water resistance while adding a new complication with the GMT. Also the date is a great plus versus my own Sub. That being said I don’t regret my purchase as I was also very attached to the icon status of the Submariner and all it ment.As for the Datejust, you get a very Rolexy watch with that GMT, you can’t regret that purchase! To give you an example, I have brainwashed my dad that wasn’t neither into watches over 100$ nor Rolexes and he ended up getting this watch and is very pleased since. I even try to borrow it every time I can! Those are some classical options and you can’t go wrong with them, knowing a little more context I might have proposed something else.Enjoy them and be sure to post a wristshot!

Ladies, what do you think of a 40 year old man working at McDonald's or Jack In The Box?

Would you date him or even give him the time of day if he tried to speak to you? Let's say you didn't know where he worked at first then he told you later?

What if that was the only job he could find in this economy?

I was on another message board and read the story of a guy who was let go from his full time job a few months ago. His company is contesting his unemployment and the only job he could find was one that allowed him to work out of his house for 3.5 hours a day diong at home customer service work. His girl was complaining that she felt he had it too good working from home while she was out working 40 hours a week. He can take a shower at 2 PM if he wanted to. Had his mornings free to do what he wanted and only had to work 3.5 hours a day. This is part time with no benefits.

The other women were also complaining that he was a lazy bumb and in the 3 months since he was layed off why didn't he go to work at McDonald's or somewhere like that to make some money? One guy replied that these are the very same women who are complaining that he didn't work at McDonald's but the minute a 40 year old starts working at McDonald's to bring some money home they are complaining he's too old to be flipping burgers.

What's your take on it?

Do 28-30 year old men like women their own age?

I'm 28 year old guy so let me give you my perspective.

Girls start off their adult life about as hot as they're going to get. Somewhere between 18 and 23 you're not going to get any more physically attractive. You still have the mental capacity of somebody who's 18-23 but you're as hot as you're getting it's all downhill from here and it starts to take a nosedive sometime in your early 30's for most women.

Guys start out about as unattractive as they're going to get (until they get real old.). When I was 18 it would be almost unheard of me to date a girl who is even 2 years older than me. Yet since in college etc you hang out with people your own age guys spend most of their time from high school through part of college not having nearly the pool to hook up with as girls do. Combine that with girls have an instinct to sleep with only a small fraction of the male population (if you could have sex with anybody why not choose the "best") and most guys spend their early 20's not getting laid.

Suddenly you land in your late 20's and it's the opposite. Not only have you gotten really good at getting girls through years of experience as somebody who wasn't as attractive but now all the sudden those same girls who wouldn't sleep with you before want you in droves. Not only that girls your age are getting around the "oh my god I'm almost 30 and not with somebody and need to settle before I get old and undesirable age" and they start to like you too despite never having liked you before. Not only that but girls even older than that no longer even care they're likely divorced know they're not going to have a fairy tale life and will just take whatever.

So guys basically transition from having almost no options to having infinite options. And we're basically like you if you have unlimited options you're going to choose the "best" most of the time and unfortunately girls are there hottest around 21,22,23. Why would I date somebody my age or older who has a time limit on settling down when I can date somebody without that limit, who is hotter and has more years of being hot than you ahead of her. It wouldn't make sense to do that. It's not that I don't like girls my age I absolutely do. But once I reach 28-30 women who are 28-30 are seldom going to be my best option and if you're that age you're going to have to work harder than you ever did in your past to get a guy. Sorry, that's just the way it is.

What is the best term policy for a 30-year-old man in India?

Buying term insurance is one of the imperative financial decisions you take in your lifetime. But unfortunately, only 10% of Indian population is insured, be it with Life Insurance or General Insurance. Why there is so much fuss around it? Well, despite you earn pretty well, you can’r predict the future. And the rate of premature deaths in India, specially related to accident, is very high. That’s why one needs to be insured with an adequate term or life insurance plan. It is advisable, if you buy term insurance at your early stage. Even it is compulsory once you enter your 30s.30s phase comes with lots of responsibilities. People become mature enough to take big decisions. As a 30 year old, what kind of life insurance should I get and why?

First of all I commend you for thinking ahead and getting insured. So many people do not consider these details! That being said, I am NOT a fan of Permanent life insurance. Only a small fraction of the American population is in a position to use Permanent insurance properly. If you are independently wealthy and have exhausted all of your tax sheltered investment options, if you own a business or you have a large estate and want to ensure your heirs have immediate cash to cover estate taxes - THEN absolutely consider permanent insurance.  What a lot of insurance people will not tell you is - whole life insurance is extraordinarily rigid. You cannot miss payments (life circumstances can change and if they do you may lose everything...we never know when a layoff will happen or tragedy will occur) - and that tax deferrable cash value accumulation feature they try to sell you on won't kick in for the 1st 10 - 15 years. Unbelievably most of your premiums for the first year go to commissions and admin fees. Go ahead and ask you agent how much you will get back in terms cash accumulation after 10 years. Bet you wont' get a straight answer. Anyway - I strongly believe that so many agents push whole life because the commissions are higher. If I were you I would buy term and invest the rest. We developed a calculator that lays it all out for you  in cold hard numbers. Check it out: Term vs. Whole Life Insurance Comparison [Calculator] You should also read an article I wrote about Whole v. Term here: Whole Life vs. Term Insurance My best advice is go to a good independent agent - they will review your life circumstances, health and goals and recommend a good policy for you. Good luck with your choice!
