**Remember** You can only choose one name, and yes, they all match my personality.

Which of these baby girl names is best?

Ariana - 9/10. I love this name it's gorgeous. However, I spell it Arianna.

Renesmee - 9/10. Very twilight. This name is so pretty! I love it. However I wouldn't name my daughter this - I love the books and the name but wouldn't use it.

Shalom - 2/10. Even though the meaning is really pretty, I wouldn't want my daughter to be called Peace in Jewish/Hebrew. It's not really a name it's more of a word.

Sasha - 8/10. I love this name! It's very pretty.

Rosalie - 8/10. Very Twilight again. I think this name is very pretty, but I do pefer Resnesmee.

Coco - 0/10. You would name your daughter Coco? I'm sorry but that's got celebsville written all over it. Please don't do that to your child!

Gwen - 7/10. Pretty but I would use something like Gwenivere and have the nickname Gwen.

Here are a few middle names:

Arianna Louise
Renesmee Carlie (lol)
Sasha Jade
Rosalie Harper
Coco Lux (an actual celebrity baby)
Gwen Elizabeth

Hope this helps

Which one of these names is the best?

I like that you're choosing unusual names, as long as you like them, though is what matters!

However... you say the child is going to be Korean. For a boy you should be aware that "Hiro" is a Japanese name, and while there is nothing wrong with names from a different ethnic heritage, the history of Japanese rule over Korea for almost the whole first half of the 20th century might make a Japanese name a little awkward. It might make some Koreans and other knowledgeable folk question if you really knew what you were doing when you named him "Hiro." Also, one of Korea's most recognizable young entertainers, Kim Jaejoong, had the English nickname "Hero" from 2003 to 2009 (and still does, to 100s of 1000s of fans all over the world.) To spare yourself and him a lot of explanations, skip this one.

Personally I wouldn't name my child anything with an obvious nickname that could be used against him... I like Dexter but "Dex" rhymes with "sex," and you know how kids can be. I like Loker but it rhymes with "joker." "Massie" is really pretty but it rhymes with "***-y."

"Drechsel" is really interesting but explaining the combo of spelling and pronunciation is going to exhaust you before you enroll him in school.

The rest are all less problematic.

A kid can survive whatever you name him/her. They'll just change it if it's a problem, and some grown-up children dislike their name enough to change it no matter how "plain" it is, or for reasons completely different than rhyming. Good luck!

Which one of these girls’ names?

I love Mairin best of all. It's straightforward and easy to spell, but it's very feminine and uncommon. Is it pronouced MOI-ren?

The similar Maire/Moira is actually one of my favorite girls' names.

I also love the Danish name Maren, and it might be easier for others to pronounce upon a first reading. If you're not set on an Irish name, it's one to consider.

What's your opinion on these names?

We don't know anything about you, Anonymous!I think that most Asians and Orientals who rename themselves are going to regret it. This fad has two strongly negative connotations. They are are not always deserved - but they occur frequently enough to persist, nevertheless:1. Vanity. Your original name is good enough, so unless it's something like Fuk Yu, there is little reason to change it for western ears. And if it is an unfortunately phonetic embarrassment, change it slightly to retain some originality (like Frank Yew, although Frank Yu is still a fine name).2. Arrogance. "You westerners are unable to say my name properly". So what. This is globalisation. Make the most of your diversity.I know a couple of Chinese guys, one diminutive, slightly-built guy who named himself Rambo and the other named himself Future. Now they're stuck with these names that are the butt of concealed smirks .The third and most compelling reason not to choose such an obviously non-ethnic name is that you will sometimes be judged as being superficial for renaming yourself. Yes, it's wrong to judge you that way - but that's not going to stop it happening.Keep your first name as close as possible to the original form, if you feel that you must westernise it. Don't change your surname. Seriously.

Which of these names would be best for an Industrial Metal band?

I'm the lead singer of an Industrial Metal/Shock Rock band. All the members of the band are girls, except for me. We're planning to do some pretty freaky things on stage (involving sexuality, bondage, vampirism, cutting, sacrilegious acts, mixing of child-like innocence with horror and punk-rock-humour, etc.), but we still haven't decided on a name. Here are some of the names we've come up with:

Altar of Disgrace
Near-Life Experience
Me and My Girls
Pretty Ones
The Gremlin Family
Strange People
Playful Little Needles
Sin of Stupidity
Your New Gods

1. Which of these names work for us (please rearrange them in order from best-name to worst-name)?

BQ:What are some other good names that you can think of that might work for us?
BQ2: In some (not all) of the names I make several different references to different things. The things I reference include: Charles Manson and The Manson Family, The Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey, The Dope Show by Marilyn Manson, Fight Club, The Church of Satan, and Drugs. Can you match up each one of these to the correct band name?
