Why do rappers talk so much about the illuminatis, and selling their soul to the devil?

The illuminati is just a topic that pops up in rap songs. Hip Hop has a habit of latching onto trends or subjects and spinning them in as many directions as possible. I'm not sure why some of the audience takes this seriously, but most rappers use it in tongue in cheek way, to poke fun at their fans, to make a point, or just to be part of all the hoopla. Hip Hop started when inner city kids, typically Black and Latin, found ways to create new sounds, music, and rhymes when the arts were taken out of their school. This "rags to riches" characteristic can turn on artists once they see a certain level of fame or wealth, like Jay-Z. Like anything else born of North America, you have to ask when is success too much success or when are you selling your soul or selling out. It's not that serious. Though, Jay-Z is one emcee who uses it to make small points here and there: Devil want these n**** hate they own kindGotta be Illuminati if a n****shineI.e. Your own friends, family, and supporters love you, until you get real success. Then, you must be a sell-out or industry puppet if you continue to further your ambitions and reach new goals. It's not supposed to be taken seriously, but people do not understand the dynamics of the culture or music will try to belittle artists. There was a point where I never even thought about it, until I started meeting people who took it way too serious. There really are bigger things to worry about. Also, I'm not too familiar with the actual historical background.

Where can I sell rap lyrics?

Rap music is becoming one of the most popular forms of music. You don't have to be Dr. Dre to get your rap lyrics noticed. It's possible to sell your rap lyrics to the big-time stars; it just takes patience, persistence and true talent. If you're sure you have the latter, you can work on the former.Write all that you can. Write when you are on your lunch break at work, and write when you are stuck in traffic or on the subway. Keep a pen and pad with you at all times to record lyrics any time you feel inspiration. The more music you have, the more you can share and sell.Copyright your lyrics. It's extremely important that you protect yourself by a copyright. Some also choose to mail their lyrics to themselves in a sealed envelope. That can be done, but a copyright is usually sound protection. Keep in mind that you can copyright specific lyrics, but you cannot copyright general ideas. Be cautious of who you choose to tell about your music.Make a demo compact disc. Even if you are not the world's premiere rapper, you need to get your lyrics recorded in a demo. Find someone willing to rap for you if your voice is completely wrong for the songs.Submit your lyrics to record producers and agents. It's best if you can find an agent and manager first. They can take care of all the details like submissions. However, nobody is going to be as big of an advocate for your music as you are. If you don't have representation, get the word out by submission.Build pages on social networking websites. MySpace, Facebook and eHow are taking the world by storm as top networking websites. Make a page on each one so that you can meet others who are interested in rap music. You can share your demo, and you can even befriend those who are successful in the industry.Go to industry mixers. Meet as many people as possible who can light the way for your career. It's an important part of the business. It just takes one right connection to complete the circle for success.—- > Review: tonos para celular gratis, funny ringtones for mobile free, descargar sonidos celular, message tones for mobile free

What stop rappers from being arrested when they talk about selling drugs and killing people in their songs?

Same thing that stops movie directors and writers from being arrested when they make movies and write books about killing people and selling drugs, it is in most cases absolute fiction, no real crime's that may or may not have been committed by an artist before they were famous are going to be layed out in detail in a song with enough said that wouls warrent an investigation or subsequent arrest. The Key and Peele show had a brilliant skit that hilariously showed what would happen if rappers actually admitted to real crimes in a song. Look it up it's called “Rap album confessions”“I shot Darnell, yeah I shot him with my 9, I shot him 9 times, 9 p.m. on the dime and by the way it was November 9th”

Buy or Sell...Eazy E couldn't rap?

Buy: Eazy-Duz-It was his only great album and yes he did have Ice Cube writing his lyrics. So I don't think E deserves to be known as a GREAT rapper.

Which rapper lied about his crib on MTVcribs? or are there more than one?

i think you're thinking of Ja Rule, he rented a house from a lady showed it on cribs and she sued him.

Buy or sell, Aesop Rock is the most overrated underground rapper?

Sell. If listening to good music makes one an elitist, then so be it. "What gets me by is know that I have a better music taste than you"

And, the message you get from Aesop Rock songs > the message you get from 95% of other artists songs
