I need a non-slutty school girl skirt for halloween!?
i've been searching the internet and all i can find are slutty super short skirts that show off your butt or real school skirts which are long and frumpy. does anyone know where i can find something in between, something that falls maybe two or three inches above the knee? i would need to get the skirt before halloween. i'm five feet tall, 120 lbs, just measured my waist - the widest part of my hips (where the top of the skirt would probably sit) is 34 inches. i'm usually a women's small or medium. i'm going to be with children all day so i don't want to dress like a slut, but my little cousin is really looking forward to us wearing similar costumes.

What school skirt is better long or short?
For practical purposes short skirts to an 1" above the knee is good. But no hiking the up to a mini skirt! Long is hot and cumbersome, gets dirty faster and just not practical. If the males of the school can't handle, it it is not the girls fault it's the male immature sexuality which they must learn to control and be the gentlemen that they need to be.

Although your writing does express an exalted emotion (a person in heat) it lacks rhyme and meter. Throughout your poem, you keep giving the impression that the young girls are unaware of their beauty and the fact that they are missing life because they do not give you a second glance. What makes you think for a moment that these young 12 to 16 year olds are not aware of their sensuality? You seem to have some very serious sexual issues if you are impatiently waiting just to glimpse their underclothing. The girls in the states dress just as sexy or plain as anywhere else in the world. Many of the girls attending Catholic or private schools dress in short skirts and knee length stockings. If you were just describing the beauty of the girls and their culture I would say it was an OK poem. But, when you start to desire those bare thighs, and their youth is another story. A thirty-something man thinking that he would be a better lover is make me thing that you have a very high opinion of your self. If you were that macho, the young girls would be throwing themselves at you and the adults would be kicking your butt. It doesn’t really matter because you will either grow up sexually or be foolish enough to do something stupid. Keep in mind that their lolicon culture built on pride and honor may be your undoing. Why do Catholic school girls get to wear such short skirts?
I am a former Catholic school girl(all the way up into college). Any way, the same rules are supposed to apply: "Skirts had to be long enough so that no part of the knee was showing. " Basically, we broke the rules and rolled our skirts up at the waist( more like HIKED them up). At the time, micro-minis were in(the late 80's) while living in New York City. There were concequences for shortening our skirts- "the demerit system". A piece of paper that provided the short skirt user( or any thing that went against school policy, from dress coldes to cutting class)with a set of negative points . The student had to work off the demerits by remaining in detention/working the points off for a specified time. There were rules in place for hair and make-up,too. How do I know? Well, I was always in detention because I rolled my skirt up, wore too much make-up and teased my hair high with plenty of "Aqua Net Hairspray". Let's just say this: after highschool, I returned for copies of my transcripts because I was transfering to another college. The same Mother Superior wanted me to work off the remaining 70 or so remaining demerits! Realize, by that time I was married with two children. Some rules are meant to be broken. Bring on the box pleats and those horrid vets!!!! LOL

A skirt is probably the oldest form of clothing being an animal skin or whatever wrapped around ones body many thousands of years ago. Men have actually worn skirts throughout time far longer than women have but in recent ages (the coming of the Industrial Revolution and riding horses) men started wearing pants for leg protection but women didn’t have to change. In the 1800’s - 1900’s pants were the standard for men thus women identified with skirts and dresses.It wasn’t till the mid to late 60’s women started wearing pants big time. In the early 60’s all girls in my school wore dresses or skirts. No pants! Today if you want to look like a girl you better wear pants as that is the standard for women now same as for men but females still have the option to wear skirts and dresses yet men are still stuck with no options other than pants or shorts yet men don’t ride horses anymore! Society has this screwed up!Today women see skirts and dresses as a feminine so in the right circumstances they wear skirts and dresses. They know a skirt can be attractive and very functional. Men are just now figuring out skirts also make sense for them (actually makes MORE sense for a male to wear a skirt than a female due to anatomy alone… no crotch binding inseams, cooler than shorts, and fantastic freedom of movement if short) so guys are trending to wear short skirts for running, hiking and sitting. Online Photo Sharing, Social Network, Image Hosting, Online Photo Albums and Men in Mini SkirtsSkirts always look better than shorts on both guys and girls. A short skirt is more formal looking and has more advantages than shorts. Women wear whatever they want yet men are still stuck with “Social Conformity” or they would also return to wearing skirts as an option but now they first have to rediscover skirts!
