Which Series Was Bigger Austin Powers Or Indiana Jones

Question on Raiders of the lost ark?

No. Different guy. This is a very much older guy, officially known as Michael D. Moore. He was a second Assistant Director , and had a long and distinguished career on that film and many other famous films, including all of the Indiana Jones films.

Here is some information about his career:

Michael D. Moore, born October 16, 1914, is a Canadian-born American film actor and director.

Born Michael Sheffield in Victoria, British Columbia, both he and his brother Patrick were Hollywood child actors. At the age of five he appeared in his first film under the stage name "Mickey Moore." Between then and the time he reached the age of thirteen in 1927, he performed in two dozen children's roles on film. In the early 1950s, Moore began working as an Assistant Film Director and would fill that role or as a Second unit director on more than sixty films. He played a key part in a number of major motion pictures including The Ten Commandments (1956), Gunfight at the O.K. Corral (1957), Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), Patton (1970), and The Man Who Would Be King in 1975. He also worked as an assistant director on several Elvis Presley musical films and directed Presley in the 1966 film, Paradise, Hawaiian Style for Paramount Pictures. Because of that, plus his experience directing a western film, MGM hired him to direct rock singer Roy Orbison in 1967's The Fastest Guitar Alive. He was the associate producer in charge of action & animal scenes for Quest for Fire (film)(1981).

In the 1980s, Steven Spielberg would hire Moore as assistant director for all three Indiana Jones films. Well into his eighties, Moore was still active, serving as the second unit director for Disney's 2000 film, 102 Dalmatians.

What are the top 5 funniest Hollywood movies of all time?

Having been a cubicle bound IT worker for last 12 years,Office Space is one movie I can identify with personally. Every character in this movie has been someone I met at my work place, be it the smarmy boss, the downsizing consultants, the colleagues, the silly events, the stupid memos. And Peter has been myself, at times really dissatisfied with the kind of work given. To date this remains one of my favorite comedy movies. Robert De Niro,as a gruff bounty hunter, different from his usual gangster roles and Charles Grodin as the do gooder Mob accountant, who embezzles their funds. The chemistry between the pair is fabulous,as they are hunted by both the Feds as well as the Mob. Mixing up buddy movie, with on the road, this is one smart witty comedy, with some great one liners. One of the best opening scenes ever, a clip from a Western movie, as cheesy as it can be, and then we see it is the heroine, novelist Joan( Kathleen Turner) furiously typing out her latest work. What follows is a wild goose chase in Colombia, where Joan goes to find the treasure map that could save her sister from captivity. Michael Douglas as Jack, a free wheeling, bird exporter, ends up aiding her, as the duo run into all kinds of misadventures. A delightful spoof on the Indiana Jones series, smart and witty, with some fabulous performances by Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner,Danny De Vito make this a must watch.A kid goes back in time, has to get his parents to fall in love, and worse his own mother  in the past gets romantically attracted to him. Somehow I feel that Robert Zemeckis is better at comedies( Back to Future,Romancing the Stone, Used Cars)  than more serious stuff( Forrest Gump). This is one wacky comedy, especially the scenes of  Marty McFly( Michael J Fox) in the past, his confusion, his attempts to unite his nerdy dad, with his mom.Not a Hollywood movie per se, but this British comedy would make it to my list.  A London based gangster and his right hand men, get in a pair of con artists Wanda( Jamie Lee Curtis) and her associate Otto( Kevin Kline) to pull off a jewel heist. A series of double crosses, affairs, bumbling crooks, and some great one liners makes this rollicking affair. My favorite quote from this To call you stupid would be an insult to stupid people. I've known sheep  that could outwit you. I've worn dresses with higher IQs!

Need a list of really good movies.?

Ok, I'm sick, and need a list of movies to see. I don't care what genre they are (horror, comedy, SiFi, fantasy, romance, etc.) No romantic comedies, tho. No really old movies please. (No black&white films).

Whoever provides me with the biggest list of good flicks I haven't seen gets best answer, so just make a list of your favorite movies.
