Which Soaps Entertained You The Most In 2013

What is the difference between a soap opera and a TV series?

Technically, soap operas are television shows because they are programs which appear on TV; yet they are certainly different in a number of ways to other programs. Disregarding the various news programs and entertainment talk or reporting shows, (as well as the numerous scripted reality shows which plague the television landscape) and focusing on the differences between the classic soap opera and primetime shows, here are a few points of distinction.Soaps have been, traditionally, daytime broadcasts (at least in the States) and completely apart from Primetime television. They do run in both 30 and 60 minute broadcasts, like other shows. (I seem to recall The Edge of Night running in a late-night slot, as a child, but these could have been syndication broadcasts.)Soaps are (again traditionally) recorded live for broadcast and the majority of primetime shows are not. Ironically, soap opera actors are looked upon as something less than other TV or movie stars (i.e.: they couldn't cut it in the Big Leagues); yet it takes a tremendous amount of discipline and craft to consistently deliver ones lines without error - as in stage acting.  Also, many primetime actors/actresses got their start in the soaps such as Tom Selleck, Demi Moore, Tommy Lee Jones and James Earl Jones. Also, soaps are continuous running programs. In effect, the story never stops; there are no seasons which skip time between.Soaps, generally, focus upon day-to-day activities of people and deliver dramatic events (if, ofttimes, unrealistic in these events happen consistently to the people involved and border on the absurd); other tv shows center upon dramatic/comedic/action oriented roles of people that aren't the garden variety.

Do you think a rebirth of the attitude era would bring WWE out of the verge of bankruptcy?

On the contrary a rebirth of the Attitude Era would cost WWE Millionso of Dollars in Advertiing Revenue, corportate Sponsorships and Retail Sales.

Rock and Pop has really gone done in quality recently?

People have been saying that since 2013... when it actually started to go downhill, I've been around here off and on since 2009 and it was extremely active way back in 2011 - 2012 and that was when I got super addicted to this site, I've found a lot of great music here and met some great people, most of which left and I never heard from since, if people were just more active and we asked our own questions to contribute then it would be just fine, maybe even cater the interest of newcomers, if I first came here in the current state it's in I wouldn't want no part in it, I just post from time to time just because there is still some valuable users here, also I've tried and tried to find other music forums, there all ghost towns. Also, this site was ruled with teenagers with eccentric tastes and old people, I really hope the old people that came here are still good and healthy and of course the teens grew up and they got too busy with life and forgot about this, but whatever the case, we just need to contribute ourselves.

What's a TV series like Suits, where there are two sides to it: one part is the romance part, and the second is about the law?

Thanks for a2aI am just confused that what did you mean when you said "Like suits" ? I Will try to answer it by presuming what you meant -  If you are interested in a series based on corporate sector like suits then you should watch mad men. If you meant as funny as suits then you should watch series like big bang theory,  friends. If you meant a show which have dialouges as good as suits then you should watch the newsroom,  west wing (anything of aaron sorkin) If you meant a show which have smart ass lead like harvey,  donna, mike etc then watch house m.d. If you want intelligent plot with nail biting twist like suits then watch breaking bad And if you want all of this at one place and better than suits then watch game of thrones. (even suits have started giving reference of this series in its episode)  I hope that I have given you the series  name you wanted.

"game of thrones is boring who agrees"?

I mean no characters, no story, no entertainment value, no action, no drama, no comedy, no good music....Ultimately what is the point of this show. It is too slow and no fun. How can people like when we have better shows like CSI and MTV reality shows. Why Game of thrones so popular and why poeple like it?
