Which Topic Scares You The Most

What scares you most?

The thought that if there is a war - we wouldn't get any warning.
The government would be much too busy shuffling people about to want to divert resources into crowd control.
The first incling would be all phones and internet would stop - all lines of communication would be linked for military use only.
Then power blackouts as they shut down the nuk power plants just in case.
Then panic as people don't have any information.
Lots of people losing the plot in one go.

BTW - global warming is just a smokescreen - it cannot be stopped. If people thought it may actually be something else that is going to cause a lot more earthquakes and storms then they might start to get a bit worried. I'd look up if I were you.

What if stuffed teddy bears had teeth and came to life? What could be lurking in your closet or under your bed? Take an object and think of "What if". Take a normal situation and tweak it a little bit such coming home and finding your door open.
A very famous horror story is "The Monkey's Paw" and is based on having wishes granted. Horror stories in general appeal to our deepest fears and that there is the possibility that the events in the story could be real. Some of the classic fairy tales such as Hansel and Gretel could be considered horror stories
Classic horror stories do not dwell on extensive descriptions of guts and gore but rely more on the reader's imagination.

What scares you the most about girls?

What scares me the most? How too many rely on the superficiality of looks to get them by in life, they should use their brains because looks fade away, stupid lasts forever.. they make us smart girls look bad by acting like air-heads..

Also how none of them seem to be happy with their natural hair colour anymore, it scares me that so many people aren't truly happy with themselves so they have to go all artificial.

Y!A: What scares you the most?

Staying locked in an elevator.

It's just so HORRIBLE and maddening because you don't know when will you be out of there! When that happened to me, the elevator kept rising, falling and even jumping at the same time... It was a nightmare!

What scares you the most?

Cancer is only one of the multitude of things that can kill you. If you look hard you will be extremely dismayed by the fact that it is a true wonder that any of us make it to adulthood. Couple that with the fact that if a disease doesn't do you in (There are thousands that can) then perhaps a drunk driver, a stray bullet from a gang bangers gun, or a psychopathic killer (there are supposed to be up to two hundred running around the states at any given moment) stalking you because they love they way YOU look. If that's not close enough to home for you then look at all the dissatisfied husbands or wives, demented mothers and fathers who kill their own children, perverted uncles or cousins who would like to molest your children and that's just your own family. Now a days you cant even go to a priest because they seem to be assaulting our children by the dozens. What scares me? This whole FREAKING WORLD SCARES ME! Just living is dangerous business good luck to you and GOD help us all.

The most horrifying sound I’ve ever heard, and I hope to never hear again— let me set the scene. It was summer, 2007. I was 18. I was sitting in the living room with my mom and grandma. We were enjoying our morning coffee and waiting for my aunt and cousin to start heading home from [another state]. They had moved back to [my home state] at the beginning of the summer and went back for a week or so to wrap things up. We were gonna celebrate my cousin’s recently passed 19th birthday that Friday. My grandma received a call from my aunt. She picked it up and after a moment of listening, she said, “wait, hold on slow down I can’t understand you.” Her hand went over her mouth and she handed my mom the phone. She uttered, “[Cousin’s name] is dead.” I heard my mom repeat those words but in a question form, words breaking. I recall crying out, “she’s what??” Fully comprehending the words but not able to believe it. We all sat there and wailed for a long time.Every sound I heard in those moments bring dread every time I recall them in my mind. We never had a funeral or a memorial for my cousin. I don’t think any of us grieved properly. I frequently have melt downs and depressive episodes when she lingers on my mind. I also have dreams where we found out she’s still alive and has just been traveling the world. Those hurt the most.Last year, I had a memorial plaque placed under a tree my son picked out at a nearby park. I had him several years after her passing but he knows about her and what she meant/means to our family. Here, he’s placing stones around the plaque to decorate it. Sometimes, we grab sandwiches and have lunch under her tree. It’s hard. Thanks for reading.*I apologize for being vague about certain details. It’s a sensitive topic for my family and surely, I would hurt feelings if they ever knew I was sharing this information publicly
