Umm - your question is kind of confusing on what part your having trouble but I'm going to try. For dish network to get hd you need three things hd tv hd receiver hd programming (you also need hdmi wiring from the receiver to the tv, hdmi is NOT included in a standard install) You have the tv, you have the receiver (I hope you are correct but you didn't include the receiver model so I can't double check), I don't know based on your question if you subscribe to hd programming or not, and I don't know if you have hdmi wiring. IF you have all four of the above in place then you would simply press menu on your dish remote then go to -system setup then go to -hdtv setup once there you will need to change the tv type to 1080 and change the aspect ratio to 16x9 That tells the receiver you want to display in hd.... I hope that helps and I got the question answered you were asking for. Also I try to return the favor on here, I asked for a cheap place to get hdmi wires and someone on here was kind enough to give me a good answer. So if you haven't gotten hdmi wire yet for your set up I highly suggest you check out www.monoprice.com I usually don't buy online like that but since wires in a box store will cost 50-70 bucks for each one it will be more than worth your time to check them out. I got 4 6ft hdmi wires (since I have multiple hd devices) and I paid less than 8 bucks a wire. I also go optical wire for 4 bucks. I ended up with 4 hdmi and 3 optical cables and still paid less than I would have paid for a single wire in a box store. read their customer reviews (it's the only reason I ordered) and I have to say I still am happy I decided to go to them.
Samsung tv will not turn on.?
First check with 1-800-SAMSUNG. They fixed my 4 year old TV for free. Yours might qualify for free one-time capacitor fix. But this has one catch: If your TV is not capacitor related, you are liable for the repair person coming out fee. 1-800-SAMSUNG gave me ticket# and service center #. What I did is I called service center # and I asked them if I can take the TV to the service center as I work all day and I don't want to wait home. They said it was ok, so I took the TV to them. They told me that since I took the TV to them, if it's not capacitor problem, there would be no charge. They took about 10 minutes to change 4 capacitors and it's working perfect for me.

Fun question. For me, my first weapon would be an AR15 pistol.Small, maneuverable, good capacity, accurate, easy to carry on a sling, light and easy to shoot. I have one just like this and it’s great. Just for fun I’d also use this ammo in it:For a sidearm, I’d carry a Canik TP9SA.very, very accurate, a better trigger than a Glock but Glock-like reliability and maybe one of the easiest pistols to shoot I’ve ever used.For a longer range rifle, I’d just use an AR10.It shoots the .308 caliber round which has a lot of power and range. The neat thing about it though is you can carry it and shoot it on foot like an AR15 if need be. You won’t be able to do that forever but you can!I guess you’d have to include a shotgun as well, so I’d just go with a pump 12G, but not just any average shotgun, it would be the Keltec KSG.It holds 12+1 rounds and is plain cool!Those are my choices!
Switching between PC monitor and TV?
I have my computer connected to my PC monitor and it works perfect I connected it to my TV with an HD MI cable and it works perfect. my problem is when the HD MI cable is plugged into the tv the display only uses the tv. I was hoping someone could tell me if there was a way to switch the display between the TV and the PC I am using a program called autohotkey to switch the sound device from PC speakers to TV Speakers. I hit f5 and sound goes through TV f6 and it goes through speakers. is there a similar program for the display or can someone familiar with the program write me a macro to hit different f keys to switch displays

How to reset the resolution of an external tv card?
Hi My tv card is 'Perfect XGA TV box' and I use it on dell s2240l monitor which has maximum resolution of 1920x1080 @ 60hz. But unfortunately i changed the resolution settings on TV card to 100hz and now it shows nothing, only sound i can hear. Now please someone tell me how can i reset the resolution of the tv card to its supported resolution. Thanks Bappy
