I have done .. BS in computer sciences.. and i wanna go in any good university of MBA in New york.. Am recntly abraod from USA.. I wil be back to USA in August and will find a good university... Doing an MBA in VTU is better or in private Universities?
Please don't make the mistake of doing MBA at some college that is affiliated to VTU. Trust me, you will regret the decision if you join VTU colleges. VTU focuses on rote learning and the syllabus is kind of outdated (this is debatable). You might want to try some place like Christ university where you will have a good exposure to the present business scenario. So, DON'T JOIN ANY COLLEGE THAT IS AFFILIATED TO VTU.

Definitely the MBA program by VTU is much better than any other university in Karnataka. You will get a good exposure, but one very bad thing about the MBA colleges under VTU is that they will never go beyond the curriculum, to teach you extra curricular activities that will take you to be at par with any other student of private MBA colleges.As this should be your last stage of education, it is very necessary to get a job with a descent salary package, but I am sorry to say about 80% of the candidates will not get any placements, and the remaining who get jobs will be of a low profile in some bigger companies with a starting salary package of 3 Lakhs.Undergoing a 2 year rigorous MBA program, and having no job in hand after 2 years is of no use.The worst thing is the college management will never have a good placement officer who has good contact in the industry. Even a college like PESIT, which has a great Engineering program, struggles to place MBA grads in good companies.Irrespective of your qualification in graduation they force you to appear in companies that have no connection to your stream. For eg, a Mechanical engineer doing his MBA marketing will be asked to appear for a bank interview, or finance company and end up having a credit card sales job.And on top of everything, the engineers doing their MBA will lose their thought process and personality development by joining the stupid commerce crowd who did their graduation from some stupid college and have absolutely no idea what to in future.SO please wait for sometime, earn for a few years and take loan, do your MBA from a reputed institute in India or abroad.Thanks!!

From my understanding, Keio and Waseda University are two prestigious private universities in Japan. Which university has the better business programs especially with many English lectures and foreign student-friendly courses? I know they are both great schools but I would like to know which university has more strengths in terms of MBA and International Business.
