Hello, I had windows 7 64-bit installed on my pc but wanted to do a reformat, so I grabbed my CD and refromatted my pc. But it was the 32-bit one, so I thought, I'll just buy the new windows 8 to get my 64-bit again because I was kinda tired of Windows 7. I installed windows 8.1 pro with the installer of the company itself wich didn't let me choose between 64 or 32 bit, so it installed 32-bit on my pc because it already detected it was 32-bit (windows 7 32-bit installed). Is there a way to get 64-bit windows 8.1 pro on my pc now? Help will be greatly appreciated!

Heyy I'm getting a weird windows 8 install error. I uninstalled all the programs it told me to, but when it checks for compatibility I get the error: You can’t upgrade 64-bit Windows to a 32-bit version of Windows.
