Whichever Is Better Bitdefender Internet Security 2014 Or Kaspersky Internet Security 2014

Which is the best internet security for Windows 10?

A lot of people go searching for different internet security options but don't know that to combat the problem of viruses, Windows 10 includes Windows Defender, a free security and antivirus program. And most people agree it's a good option -- not foolproof -- but good.Having said that, if you prefer running third-party antivirus programs, you're welcome to do so. It will turn off Windows Defender automatically as part of its install process. But don't install two third-party antivirus programs, because they often quarrel. This feature from How To Geek: What’s the Best Antivirus for Windows 10? (Is Windows Defender Good Enough?) provides some of the best options, pros and cons outside of Windows Defender. Including Kaspersky and BitDefender. But the overall conclusion is that Windows Defender is (mostly) just as good.ReferencesHow to Protect Your Computer from Viruses with Windows 10 DefenderWhat’s the Best Antivirus for Windows 10? Which is better for my computer, BitDefender or Kaspersky anti-virus?

Personally I would choose Kaspersky, over Bitdefender. But:How are you with conspiracy theories. You may have read the current issues with the USA and Russia. The US Government has issued a notice to remove Kaspersky. Makes you wonder.Recently Bitdefender has soared to number 1 in various reviews. But they are made by the Romanians, go figure. But a number of the AV's are European made.It is a dilemma, many say go with Windows defender, again reviews don't rate it highly. What to do: make sure you have a good local + cloud backup, and choose a program like Norton (made in America), also Use Malwarebytes (free version) for scans. Some say Norton slows your computer down, I have never found that, not with the newer versions.Otherwise, read as many reviews and make a choice. You could use the free versions first, and if you feel comfortable then pay for a one year subscription. But definitely have a good backup and Malwarebytes.Hope that helps.Andre

Is a computer with Kaspersky internet security more safe than any Linux?

Let me tell you the best way I can,Kaspersky or whatever that name may be is just a name of a security oriented company (loosely). You can put name of any antivirus software you want, at last its just a software that keeps our PC secure. The comparison that you pulled through flummoxed me to the core but again Linux as you are trying to say is an system environment where every piece of code interacts with the kernel directly or indirectly with a hierarchical set of permissions allowed or given to respective pieces of code. PC on the other hand is more user friendly, so less set of rules, less set of permissions.TLDR; Linux is secure because it was built to be with more rules and more permissions, PC on the other hand is not that focused on the subject as Linux is, so the user uses third party software like Kaspersky etc to keep it secure.

Can I use Avast & Microsoft Security Essentials together?

I just uninstalled AVG from my laptop and download Microsoft Security Essentials. Now I'm actually wondering if it'll be enough to protect my computer.

Should I download Avast to run along side MSE?

Do I just leave MSE installed alone?

What antivirus do you recommend?

Best total security antivirus?

I use and recommend Kaspersky Internet Security. It's consistently rated at the top in independent testing for protection, performance, and usability. An antivirus software is only as good as its latest definitions. Kaspersky Internet Security updates several times a day. It does this quietly in the background, without disturbing whatever you're working on. It has a couple of extra features that you can enable. One is a banner ad blocker that blocks annoying ads in the web browser. The other is a URL Advisor, which warns you of dangerous web sites and Google search results so you don't click on anything that could harm your computer.
You can get a free, fully functioning 30 day trial of KIS at the Kaspersky website, below:

What is the best Android app for mobile security?

Privacy on internet is a myth my friend.A gentleman on Quora once stated that, for an end user, anti viruses are just an illusion which makes you feel safe and protected. In reality, those are just databases of virus signatures which have been already detected. If someone wants to actually hack your accounts; he will and there'll be nothing you could do about it.Apart from that, you don't need an extra software to protect your accounts. You just need to be cautious. Here are some tips:Check what permissions you are giving to an app. If the app is not from a trusted source, then you better not install it.2. Check what apps use your Facebook profile information:    To check this go to Settings -> App Settings     There are lot of games on Facebook like, who viewed your profile, IQ test, love calculator, etc. All these games  usually ask for your profile information, so you should definitely avoid them as much as you can.3. Always try not to share the phone number you have used for your whatsapp account in a public survey or a promotional questionnaire. Otherwise, you'll only be annoyed by unknown people texting you.4. Never submit a credit card number or other highly sensitivepersonal information without first making sure your connection is secure (encrypted). In Internet Explorer, look for a closed lock icon at the bottom (Windows) or near the top (Mac) of the browser window. In any browser, look at the URL (Web address) line - a secure connection will begin "https://" intead of "http://". If you are at page that asks for such information but shows "http://" try adding the "s" yourself and reload the page. If you get an error message that the page or site does not exist, this probably means that the company is so clueless - and careless with your information and your money - that they don't even have Web security. You can check out this link for more info: EFF's Top 12 Ways to Protect Your Online PrivacyAnd even if you still want to go with an anti virus then I'd suggest: 360 security by QihooIt has got a 4.6/5 rating on Google Play store by 11 million+ people and its free!
