Who Could Make Liverpool A Better Team During The January Transfer Windows

Do you think Liverpool will make more signings during this transfer window, especially after spending so much money on Alisson?

Probably not.I am confident that purchases would not be for the purpose of buying young and developing (i.e., Havertz, Pulisic or Brandt), assuming purchases are made. Signings would be for immediate need by a player who can at worst ‘do no damage’ on the pitch. My initial reaction is to add depth at CB. However, Virgil van Dijk, Lovren, Robertson, and Matip start, with Gomez (and his newly-expressed desire to help at CB) and Klavan offering cover. Also, just watch 10 minutes of Alisson and you immediately see a guy who is worth the value of at least 1/2 of a CB on the pitch. Vidas from Besiktas is probably the best value, a pretty good fit with a vicious streak in him. Who knows if the rumours are valid, but he is might be a good option with his fellow Croat, Lovren. He probably ends up at West Ham and that £20m price tag would probably kill the deal anyway. However, I find him appealing. The attacking midfield might be deepened, with Fekir an obvious target. However, I would be stunned if that deal goes through. It appears that the end of the earlier deal was because of injury concerns raised by medical professionals. Their opinion is not going to change. Proceeding against the recommendations of medical professionals is exceptionally ill-advised and not something that insurance companies will abide. Moreover, renegotiating with Lyon’s distasteful president probably is not the way for Edwards & Co. to spend the remainder of their summer. As a result of the developments over the last 48 hours, goalkeeper is an issue. Sadly, Ward now appears to be leaving for Leicester. Mignolet is too expensive (£60k pw) to be on the bench and eventually will start complaining. Karius’s agent is insane if he fails to find a new home for him. What this means is that the club needs an experienced back up keeper. They are a dime a dozen, and we might sign such a keeper (like Massinger a couple of years ago).In the end, I think Klopp’s head probably is already spinning. I bet he is pressured by the need to integrate the new players while treating the existing squad members with respect. He is not a Mourinho. He is not going to treat either the inbound or outbound players as chess pieces. Perhaps Klopp is content with the squad as of today.

Should Liverpool sell Daniel Agger in this summer transfer window?

Agger frustrated at Liverpool: I'm no-one's third choiceIt is sad that he did not get more first team opportunities. Brendan Rodgers favours the defensive partnership of Sakho and Skrtel over Agger. I don't think he should be sold for a number of reasons.LoyalityOver his years with Liverpool FC he has shown loyality, in last four years when the team didn't have Champions League football, he had offers to make a move away for better opportunities. He rejected advances from Man City and Barcelona and stayed loyal. If the player sticks to the club in bad times, its's fair for the club to stick with the player in his bad patch of form.Technically Better than other CB'sAnurag Sethi's answer to Liverpool F.C.: Among the three Liverpool CBs, who do you think is the best?Skrtel hugs opponents inside the penalty box, scores own goals, Sakho has bad judgement. Among our centre backs he is least error prone. Sure he lacks pace which is a major chink in his armour, but reads the game well and is technically sound.Game Time The major complain is the lack of playing time, but this may not be a problem next season, as the team will play in Champions League and hopefully enjoy have a longer cup run. We'll be a part of more number of games, hence more opportunities to play. We need three first team CBs rotated over these games and fixtures calender will be hectic. No SubstitutesNot many quality Centre Backs are available in the transfer market and if there are, they won't come cheap. We have been linked with Southampton's Lovren who is indeed talented but not much of an improvement over the Dane. It's not expected neither it is feasible for the owners to break the bank and sign a new CB when other positions in the team need reinforcements. Young Players need guidanceLike mentioned before Sakho is still young and need to sharpen, Illiori is still raw talent and needs mentoring. With a defensive fixer like Steve Clark no longer at the helm, having someone senior like Agger will have many benefits. Not much of a financial liability:Apparently he is paid around 90k pounds/week with contract expiring in 2016. If the team retains a liability like Glen Johnson who is paid 120k pounds/week then his selling would be unjust. His transfer away won't fetch buckloads of money given he is past his peak, hence selling him for financial reasons doesn't make much sense.

Whom should liverpool sign in the transfer window?

Klopp has done wonders with the team ever since he came to Anfield. Now transfers varies from manger to manager in accordance with the methodology/gamestyle they like to play.It is no news that Klopp plays Gegenpressing, which is a form of pressing play where the players tries to get the ball as soon as they lose it.Now to do that we need players that have two things :-StaminaGood Ball Control(Technically Sound)If this season taught us anything about Liverpool it is that they have been a vehement force while attacking but they still need to work on defending.I would start by a new set of gloves(new GK) though Mignolet is a nice GK(good performance last season) but honestly this season wasn’t too impressive.I remember Southampton vs Liverpool game when at one juncture Liverpool was ahead 0–2 and end up losing 3–2. Mignolet was just not having a good day.Just recently I read an article about Liverpool closing in signing Mainz keeper Loris Karius. I would love to see this happening as he’s also young(22) and will be a good signing in a futuristic point of view. Now we also need serious overhauling at defending part with Sakho’s return date still unclear Liverpool should also buy a good CB(Rumour : Thomas Vermaelen).Apart from this Liverpool has shown good attacking display in recent games be it their magical comeback against Dortmund, they have shown knack to attack. Both Firmino and Coutinho has been sublime this season and Milner has also been great. All in all Midfield looks great but there is always room for much rumoured Gotze, he’ll add flair to already decent midfield. On top of this I would love to see someone of Kante’s caliber to join the ranks as he is a work horse with tremendous work rate.Imagine Kante and Milner/Henderson in the midfield that would be great to gegenpress. Now coming to Forwards, Benteke has also not been that great for the reds, we need a clinical finisher and a poacher like Ibra(little dicey to bring him but what the heck).Even though chances to bring Ibra is slim but I would love to see someone else spearheading the attack than Benteke.Sturridge is good but after coming back from injury doesn’t look like the same person who he was last season. I would personally love to see Klopp find a new Aubameyang for the reds.To know more about the transfer rumours read :Latest Liverpool FC Transfer Rumours and Reports ; YNWAHappy Kickoff, cheers ..

Who should Liverpool sign this January transfer window in order to save their season?

Well. It is right that no top player will come to Liverpool. But sometimes a team needs not a star signing but impact players. They need a good Striker and a Goalkeeper and maybe just a cover at Right back. And there are some available right now.For a striker, they could sign Gignac who plays for Marseille in France. He is a striker who has scored plenty of goals in France and may just be the player Liverpool need. He is a good player and works for the team. In Goalkeepers, they don't have many quality options, a player being linked is the Argentine Sergio Romero. If they get him then he could be a good signing. At Right back, they have quite a few options. Dani Alves is one doing the rounds. Lichsteiner and Danilo are others. Alves would bea good signing plus he is keen on leaving or seems so. Lichtensteiner would be best as he is playing in a good team moreover Juventus plays with 3 at the back just like Liverpool do in recent times. Danilo would be a decent cover. So I guess I covered all positions in which they need cover. Go LFC! :)

Should Liverpool try to sign Kingsley Coman?

Franck Ribery is nearing retirement and Bayern Munich only have Coman to replace him with. Liverpool could try all they want, but it’s not a realistic transfer at all. Having said that, they do need wingers because their squad depth is pretty weak. They have recently been linked to Nabil Fekir, who can be played in that position as an inside-forward, and is a more realistic target.

FIFA 12 career mode is this a good liverpool team?

Are Liverpool likely to sign any additional players in January? Do you think they need to invest in January in order to continue challenging for the title?

This season despite recruiting new players and strengthening the bench, Liverpool hasn't been as sharp as last season. In addition, the front three hasn't been as influential and decisive either. These problems are because of one man leaving the club, Coutinho. While Coutinho didn't steal the show that often, none of the new boys can unblock defenses, link well with the forwards and curl the ball into the back of the net like him.Keïta is one for the future, he can be nurtured into a perfect playmaker but for the moment, he can't do Coutinho tasks. That's leaves us with Wijnaldum, but you already know that he likes to retain and recycle the ball than to run and unblock defenses. So, Liverpool would definitely try to lure an attacking midfielder to compensate for Coutinho's departure and for rejuvenating the midfield.

Will liverpool climb up the table and finish in top 4?

As a Liverpool fan I would like to answer definitely YES but realistically it is very difficult to say at this point of time. The season is only 15 game weeks old and there is still a long way to go.None of the so-called bigger teams have been consistent enough.Teams will look to strengthen in the January transfer window and it has to be seen if Liverpool buy any players. Moreover Liverpool is still in the COC , very much there in the gruesome Europa League plus the FA Cup is going to start from January. The squad will be stretched to the maximum and how well Klopp manages the squad will have to be seen.So let's hope for the best and support our team to the fullest.
