What reasons could I have used months ago to convince my friends to vote for Hillary when they blamed the Benghazi debacle on her?
There really isn’t a satisfactory answer for that question. You want to convince people that the impact of one serious violation of trust (I’m trying not to be inflammatory here) on their willingness to vote for the person who committed that violation can be nullified with some other argument. Okay, let’s stipulate that Hilary likes kittens, gives generously to charity, was nice to her parents, and suffered a prize ass of a husband with stoic resolve. No matter how good of a light you shine on her, for those that a moved by a single massive impact issue like Benghazi, nothing like a good argument will change their thinking.And in fairness, the “Benghazi debacle” was never blamed on her. A total abandonment of American diplomats and contracted security personnel who were protecting them to the onslaught of radical Islamic militants who were attacking the compound was blamed on her, justifiably, because she is the one who failed to authorize any action to protect or save American lives. That failure, while she was the Secretary of State, the senior American diplomat for foreign relations, was a pretty big deal, and a a key indicator about her character and capability as a leader. I cannot imagine an alternative argument that would make that massive of a failure go away.

First, let me say how sorry I am to hear about the loss of your loved one. Suicide hurts so many people in the process. I tell everyone to watch for "coincidences" after a loved one passes on. His spirit is not free. Suicides do not automatically go "to a better place." He is in a place now -- perhaps a dark place -- where he must atone for the fact that he broke his contract with God. Once he has done that, he will move on. You can help him with this. Part of the reason he can't move on is part of the reason you had the dream about him. He needs you to forgive him for his mistake. Forgive him, and tell him to move on to the light. Pray for his spirit to finally return home; this is very powerful. The coins and the electrical disruptions are common messages from the deceased; they are energy now and the easiest way to reach the living is thru electronics like phones, TV's, radios, computers, etc. With the coins, you will usually find two of them, one after the other. That's where the "Pennies from Heaven" song originated. Yes, I sincerely believe you had a visit from your boyfriend. Please urge him to go willingly into the light. Mental illness is not a weakness. The general public needs to understand this so that people with mental illness get treated, not stigmatized. I think your friend with mental illness can help you understand what your bf might have been thinking when he did this. PLEASE DO NOT BLAME YOURSELF! I suspect you are doing some of this, and he is not going anywhere until you realize it was HIS choice and you had nothing to do with it. I am an empath. But I can tell you that I have a much better relationship with my Dad now than when he was alive! My husband died ten years ago next month, and he's still around giving me advice.
