Who Is Interested To Become An After School Teacher Mountain View Ca

Atheist's how do you explain petrified clams on Mount Everest?

It's really simple. Around 4400 years ago a flood occurred and some of the clams were buried by a mud flow from the water shooting out of the crust of the earth. In the bible it talks about mountains rising up and valleys sinking down. In a world wide flood many plates of the earth would be moving around and they smacked into each other and formed mountains. Why did you become a special education teacher?

I wore my black velvet thrift store blazer, the one that came with a Swiss Army knife in the pocket. I got my father to babysit and I strode into the educational job fair with a very open mind. I didn’t want to drive a bus, but otherwise, I was open. I desperately needed a job and a new direction, one with hours that worked well with having children in school. At a table set up to recruit credential candidates, a woman told me Special Education was currently the greatest need. Another table told me about the program where a portion of my school loans would be paid off by the state if I taught four years in a low income school.I began to wander through the tables set up for individual districts, looking at posted openings, from cafeteria helper to teacher. At the table for the district where my children attend, I asked if they ever hired teachers on emergency credentials, before they were done with school. The lady asked me what I wanted to teach, and I answered Special Education. I told her that I had substitute taught in a couple Special Education classes and enjoyed it. She conversationally asked a few more questions and then she told me that if I was in a credential program for Special Education, she would hire me.And she did. She’s my boss now, and a good one.I know it’s a strange story and seems opportunistic, but that’s what many important life decisions come down to: opportunity. Right place, right time, hungry, and ready to act.I’m actually really well suited for the job. I myself spent part of my days in Special Ed from fourth through sixth grade. I enjoy learning about the brain, about learning. And I love my students. But I fell into the job because of need, both my own and seeing a need in my community that I could fill.

Which is the better option after getting an MTech, teaching in an engineering college or getting a PhD?

Sorry for the late reply Gaur GarimaFirst of all define your priorities. Do you want to pursue PG just for the sake of becoming professor in an engineering college or you genuinely love teaching?Second, are you willing to forego the hefty packages from the private sector & settle for decent pay & not much work pressure? If the answer to the above questions is yes skip this paragraph. In case you have some valid doubts no matter, sit down, define what your aim is (long-term & short-term), analyse whether what you want to do now fits with the aims that you have in life, prioritize the things that you need to do at the earliest which would help you in achieving those aims bit-by-bit & START WORKING ON THE SAME.See, one can take up teaching in an engineering college even with a BE degree having  some experience working in a mechanical-related field. Since your aim is to become a Professor to teach students in an engineering college you have the following three ways1. Join any engineering college with a post of Assistant professor role & study PG while also discharging your duties in the college. Since you will not be busy for the entire day you can take out time for your PG.2. Do PG in a subject of your choice & interest from reputed IISc's or any other universities having tie-up's with foreign universities or governmental organisations. Complete the thesis without distraction of a job & later on successful completion you could easily join a college in the post of Professor3. This is a bit rare. If you have joined any organisation after completing M-Tech, continue for 2-3 years or so & during that time research more on the field in which you would like to do a thesis on. Earn some money & when you have enough corpus use it to fund for the ensuing years of your study. Coupled with stipend provided by the UGC this will help you in investing some money towards your own thesis-related work.Lastly remember that once you have decided what to do go on with it!

Is it possible for the public to tour the Google campus in Mountain View? How would one go about it?

Google doesn't actually offer tours of its campus to the general public.  So your best bets are:Find/ask a friend who works at Google to invite you for lunch (and a tour).Apply to and get selected for interviews for a position there -- a brief tour is typically part of the interview day.  :-)From time to time I did see some groups (again, not just *any* group) getting toured around the campus, but I have no idea what the selection criteria was for them.

What major and classes should I be taking if I'm interested in web development/design and leading/creating a company, especially tech startups?

I am a recent graduate having majored in Digital Media Design.  My main focus was web design and I learned a lot!  Digital Media allows for a well rounded exposure to different aspects of media.  I studied web design video, communications, graphic design, electronic music, animation, and other disciplines.  Each of these areas of study within the major helped my marketability as a we designer.Graphic Design is another major you could also major in and you'd be on the right track.  I would also advise that you try and take some programming courses too such as PHP, HTML, and Jquery.  Those are courses I didn't take but wish I had because programming knowledge can help a lot! Here is a link to where I went to school and a description of the programs!Digital Media Design Graphic Design Degree
