Who Is Main Team To Watch In Second Half

Where do you see Indian football is heading after yesterday's match against Kenya?

The rain stopped momentum in the first half, but second half was excellent. Eventhough Kenya was a inexperinced team and ranked lower than India, but they have better physical structure than Indians.India’s playing XIs average age was 25.India with this set of youth players like Udanta, Thapa, Ashiq, Subashish can be a asset in the future. In the short term, looking at Asia Cup in UAE , India has a better chance of making into the knockout round. Groupmates Baharin and Thailand are ranked lower than us, India could also get excellent support from the crowd , like playing infront of homecrowd. In the long term, looking at the World Cup im Qatar, I am sure India can qualify with this kind of passion and support. They will definitley play at the 2026 world cup as teams are increased to 48.This new impact and follwing can be attributed to the success of ISL and good broadcasting deals. Also with the hosting of U17 world cup.I see a lot of kids take up football in their summer coaching camp, this itself shows the change in attitude.

Why do groundskeepers water the pitch at halftime of EPL games?

The use of sprinkler systems will unquestionably help the growing and maintenance of the grass, they aren’t always used for such honourable reasons. The amount of water on the surface of a pitch can change the way a team plays their football and so managers and groundskeepers can use this to their advantage.A well-watered pitch will allow for slick and fast passing. The correct amount of water on any given turf will encourage true and speedy movement of the ball. Conversely, a dry and bumpy pitch will slow the ball down and cause players to struggle to get a good passing game going. If the team you support tends to play a slick passing style of football like Arsenal or Spurs then you may well observe the sprinklers being turned on down the wings that your team will be using for their attacks during the second period. On the other hand if your team tends to favour a defensive game then they may use the sprinkler system very sparingly indeed. Perhaps they’ll only turn them on in the box that the home team are attacking and leave them off everywhere else. This will create a slower game and prevent a team that likes to play passing football from getting their rhythm going. Some might well call this gamesmanship, whilst others will say it’s making use of the materials available to the manager and the ground staff of the home team.Of course, some managers favour an identical pitch for every single game of the season. They like their players to know what sort of pitch they’re going to be playing on and they hope there will therefore be no surprises. Others like the groundskeepers to grow the grass slightly longer and allow it to dry. The dryness of the grass causes friction with the ball, thereby slowing it down and causing trouble for a fast-paced opposition. If a ball bobbles and bounces then players will have to think about whether they’ll be able to control it rather than the next move they’re going to make to try and win the match.

Mlb.tv. can I watch my hometown team games?

I too live in Oakland. I have been using MLB.tv for years now it is a great service. I always hear people talking about buying a premium option which includes local games but I have never seen this as being actually available. MLB.tv has local games blacked out due to archaic television broadcast rights owned by local sports stations. These broadcast rights were set up decades ago but because of the large amount of money involved they have not gone away.
There is a simple work around for this. You need to use either a proxy server or a VPN which will make your IP address appear to be in another location. You can do a google search for free VPN's and free proxy servers but you may find it difficult to find a free service with enough bandwidth to support MLB.tv.
I personally use Astrill VPN. They are very affordable and they do not slow down your bandwidth much.
If you are not computer savvy don't worry setting up a VPN is quite simple. You can also use the VPN to download copy righted files without getting the dreaded letters from your internet provider for pirating. If you ever use public wifi you should be using a VPN to protect your privacy. Basically using a VPN has many advantages, including ending all MLB.tv blackouts.

EXPLAIN EXPLAIN!

Do Super Bowl players watch the halftime show?

I can't answer authoratively as I've never played in the Superbowl. However from my experience as a coach of team sport I can tell you these things:Half time is spent focusing on the following- Checking any injuries and treating them if needed- Making sure players are hydrated- Discussing what happened in the first half of the game- Addressing any deficiencies in the game plan- Making any changes needed for the game plan in the second half- Making sure every player knows exactly what their role is- Motivating players to finish the game in a successful fashion.Players and coaching staff need to stay focused on what has been happening on the field and what is about to happen on the field.  Distractions are unwelcome at this point.  Or in short - players are both unaware of what else is happening during halftime and really couldn't give a shit.

What was the best football/soccer match you ever watched?

I have three favourites matches which I watched live and can’t really rank them, but let’s give it a try:2006 World Cup Final, I was 10 years old at the time and this match happened in a very bad moment for Italian football, as Juventus and a lot of other teams like Milan, Reggina, Lazio got involved in Calciopoli. The whole country was kind of demoralized from the situation, plus we didn’t have a team full of stars like in 2002. But we played solid defense and Toni in that historic moment was the best striker in the world (Bayern fans used to say he shot once and scored twice). We only scored 12 goals and two against: one own goal and a penalty on a Malouda dive. It was special because in the semis and in the final we respectively beat Germany and France, our rivals not only in football but in everything.Manchester United - Milan, 2006/07 UCL Semifinals, this was Kakà’s best match in my opinion: he completely destroyed Man Utd’s defense and scored one of the best goals in Champions League history. It’s unlikable we’ll see a goal like that any time soon. I remember me and my dad going crazy after he scored the second goal.Roma - Juventus 2001, Roma was first in the league and had to retain at least a draw to maintain a decent advantage on Juve and Lazio. In the first minutes Juve scored twice (Del Piero, Zidane) and they had the control of the game. In the second half, Capello subs Totti for Nakata. It was a corageous move as Totti was in his prime and among the best players in the world if not the very best, but this move paid off as the Japanese scored with a screamer after a few minutes and later made a shot a 113 km/h that Van Der Sar couldn’t keep and Montella scored on the drive back. The match ended 2–2 and resulted decisive for Roma’s Scudetto! From that moment Nakata is my favourite player along with Juninho and Brazilian Ronaldo!I also have to quote Lyon - Roma, UCL round of 16 of 2006/07 as the honorable mention. I watched this game live like all the other ones I quoted, and Mancini’s goal is mind-blowing, especially because it was scored against a great defense like Lyon’s one in the Juninho era! Totti vs Juninho was pure magic too. Roma then lost badly in the quartefinals but this game and Mancini’s goal will go down in history.

Should I watch all of Doctor Who before watching Torchwood?

It is important to watch Doctor Who first but, you do not have to watch all of them before starting Torchwood.

I would recommend though that, you watch at least up to series 2 episode 2.

This is when Torchwood is first mentioned and, by watching up to this stage, you will have seen the character that is common to both shows develop. I think that seeing him develop on Doctor Who is necessary to really enjoy and appreciate Torchwood. Also, you will find out something about him very early on in Torchwood (I cannot say what because it would be a spoiler for both shows) and if you have not seen Doctor Who, you will not understand "how" or "why"

Did you know that Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who! :)
