Who Likes Sports Like Softball Or Basketball

Do guys like a girl who plays volleyball, basketball or softball and why?

It depends on the guy. . . I've personally like girls who played each of these sports, but I've also liked girls who didn't play sports at all. . . I ended up marrying a girl who ran cross country and track and that's all she did. Sadly, I'm a volleyball fanatic, and my wife isn't, so she never comes to play it with me, and she gets bored when she watches my tournaments. So, to officially answer your question guys like all of the above, it is generally nicer to like someone with the same interests as you, but it's not necessary. You can't narrow down what any given guy sees in a girl based on the sports she plays. I'm sure this sounds like a cop out answer, but honestly, it's probably more about attraction than what she plays. Good luck with your paper.

Why do Americans like Football more than Basketball?

Football is the greatest sport to be apart of. No other sport requires as much dedication, heart, trust and passion. My high school coach always talks about how football is the sports world's most accurate representation of life. It's not always fair, and its not always fun, but nothing is better than seeing all the hours and hours of blood, sweat and tears come to fruition. Whether it be in the weight room or on the practice field, the preparation is rarely easy. And not to sound cliche, it is also the sport where teamwork is the most important. There is no other sport where you have as many people working towards the same goal at any one moment, both on offense and on defense. My coach also likes to compare football to family for these reasons. He says that in society, families are failing. So the American Culture instead turns to football to be able to see a functional family in action. The two are clearly linked in his mind, and I personally agree with him.

Should I quit softball & cheer..?

I've played softball for 11 years. I'm a freshman in high school right now. I cheered in middle school and I really liked it and I regret not trying out this year but I want to for my sophomore year. I play soccer too. The thing is I can only do one other sport if I make cheerleading and soccer is so fun. I don't like the softball team, they are mean and the coaches show lots of favoritism. But what if I don't play and regret it? My dad already said it's fine if I don't want to play next year. And if I do play I can't cheer football, I have to cheer basketball which I don't mind but I'd have a better chance of making it if I put both squads down...this is so hard. Any advice will help. What should I do? How should I decide? Thanks (this is a repost so don't get all mad)

Why do you love basketball?

ask him to show you, I remember showing my girlfriend a while back how to "post up."(If you dont know, meaning when you back another guy down under the hoop, you know, post moves, follow me) It was kinda wierd, a mix between grinding and playing ball, uh huuuuuh. yeah, I remember that night. But if you dont want to ask and you arent good, dont try and praactice in front of him cause then you just look stupid. Try dribbling first. That other guy who said he hit himself in the face? Thats pathetic. I've been bouncing a ball between my legs and crossing people over since I could run a court length. Good luck.

Can i play basketball and still be a girly girl?

Ok, first of all, boys don't ALWAYS love girls that are cheerleaders, some don't like all that drama. Also, you can be whoever you want to be, if you want to be all sweaty and sporty when it's time for basketball, you can. But, when you aren't doing basketball and you want to wear make-up and huge sunglasses, you can. There is obviously a time for basketball and a time for the real you. If the real you is a sporty girl on the outside, but a girly girl on the inside, that's totally ok. No matter what anyone says, just stick to basketball and stick to being girly.
