Who Should Be My Two Keepers For Fantasy Football 2013

What happens if you don't select keepers in fantasy football?

Dude, more info please! Are you saying it's a keeper league but you didn't select keepers? Or it's a non-keeper league?

Generally, they go into the draft, but I've been in keeper leagues where I didn't keep anyone and those players went into the draft but I got a free pick for each round per number of players.

In my fantasy football league, is it a good idea to cut tight end Charles Clay for Antonio Gates?

Antonio Gates is one of the best tight ends to ever play the game, but he is in the twilight of his career. Last season, he only started four games and gained only 300 yards. He just recently signed a new contract with the Chargers after missing all of preseason. (That’s probably a good thing for an old body.)Clay never has been a very good fantasy option, with only one decent season (2013 with Miami.)Surely your list of FA TE’s includes better options than either Clay or Gates. If it doesn’t, I’d say go with Gates this week because he is facing a weak KC defense. Then, see if any surprises come out of Week 1 from some of the other TE’s, and make another decision next week.

Who Should I Keep in My Fantasy Football Keeper League?

For my league, all 1st round picks automatically go back into the draft for the next year, and all kept players replace draft picks (Round Selected - 1). For example, I took Percy Harvin in the 5th round so I would lose my 2013 4th round pick. Also, any free agents use up a 14th round pick.

So my big dilemma is whether I should keep my

Free Agent pick-up Russell Wilson (averaging 21 points over the past 9 games)

or

RB Stevan Ridley (taken in the 9th round)

I was offered Ridley for Wilson just yesterday, but have since come to have a man-crush on Wilson's ability to put up gaudy numbers like Newton and RGIII. On the other hand, Ridley is not bad at all, and would give me a great FLEX play next year (as I would select Foster/Rice/McCoy etc 1st round) to establish a heavy-duty RB core.

I am in a 10-team league and 7 teams have told me that they are going to keep a QB or select one 1st round.

If I were to trade Wilson, I could draft a WR in the 3rd and 4th round and then pick Luck/Stafford way late, since every team will have a QB already.

If I were to keep Wilson, I could draft a Spiller, McFadden (may be unleashed now that Oakland doesn't have to use the OC Knapp's terrible idea of ruining the best player on the team), or Darren Sproles. Then I'd draft 2 WR's back-to-back.

What would you do?

Can i get 15 fantasy football points out of larry fitzgerald and neil rackers tonight?

fitzgerald will get 80 yards and a td himself

rackers will get 3 fg and 2 xp.

it will be a shootout....well arizona will be traveling through the air while gore will get 120+ on the ground vs arizona.

so if your in a basic yahoo league then im predicting 25-27 pts out of those two players

What is good draft strategy this year in a Yahoo fantasy football league?

Is it a snake draft or an auction draft? How many teams? Is it standard scoring or PPR? How many slots for each team? The most common draft type is a 10-team snake. Your strategy deepends a little bit on your draft spot (1–10). If you're in the top 3–5 spots you almost “have” to draft a running back (many reasons for this, the biggest being that the difference between a great RB and a bad RB is very large). In general, you want to draft players that have large “upside” or high consistency. If you have, like half of your team as very consistent week to week that is good over the whole season (depending on scoring/quality of other people in your league)I sort of need more information, but it's too early to be drafting anyway (injuries, trades, signings, etc). Wait until the end of August at the earliest

Fantasy Football: How does having a 2 QB league affect the draft/auction value of the top QBs?

The question boils down to the opportunity cost. In a 1QB league with ten teams, I can feel reasonably comfortable knowing that I will have a reliable quarterback if I draft one in the 2nd or 3rd round because of how many options there are available. Therefore, it's a wiser use of my resources to draft a running back (the elites of whom are much less replaceable), so I invest in a running back like Lesean McCoy or Jamaal Charles knowing that I can still grab a reliable quarterback like Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco later. The first round doesn't change much in this type of league. The 2nd-4th rounds do, however. Since quarterbacks are consistently some of the highest scoring players, I need to maximize the value I can get out of that position. Since I can no longer maximize the value of the QB position with just one player, I need to invest in good quarterbacks early and often. I would prioritize a player such as Tony Romo or Andy Dalton over a 2nd tier running back like Mark Ingram because I cannot replace their value as easily. This means quarterbacks get drafted ahead of 2nd-tier running backs and even 1st-tier wide receivers at a much higher rate than they would otherwise.

Keeper League: Victor Cruz or Randall Cobb?

Bro, this is a no brainer. Keep Cobb.

If you want Cruz that bad, I guarantee you he will be there for you in the 2nd, probably in the 3rd, and maybe even the 4th. Cruz is not worth a 2nd round pick. Ever.

Cobb in the 10th round is a steal. He'll easily be the best player drafted in that round. Cobb's upside is off the charts. Keep him and enjoy starting you team with Doug Martin and Randall Cob with tons of early draft picks yet to be used.

Is it worth picking up DeMarco Murray (fantasy football)?

The players I'm thinking about dropping are:
- Marshawn Lynch (back spasms, missed last week's game)
- Willis McGahee (out for 1-2 weeks, undergoing surgery)
- Eric Decker (#1 receiver in Denver with Brandon Lloyd's departure)

My team is pretty much stacked with WR's and RB's (6 RB's, 6 WR's).

Who are the top 3 goalkeepers of the Premier League?

Thanks for the A2A Kaustubh Pandey. It's a humdinger but let's give it a shot.At No. III , we haveFraser Forster. No 23.  Southampton FCHave you seen this guy playing this season. The saints owe a lot to the former Celtic man for their no. 2 position they have right now. I know this has been said before but, just five goals? And an England call up. He's deserving all right. Lack of experience in top flight keeps him at III.For no II, it's a tie between Joe Hart . No. 1. Manchester CityThibaut Courtois. No 13. Chelsea FC. I'll still edge towards Joe Hart because of his consistency through the years. And the guy has maintained. But Courtois's performance has put on the limelight . And, the numero uno isDAVID DE GEA!This has nothing to do with me being a devil's fan. The guy has impressed all. He's put on some stunning displays and he's growing. and he's fast with athleticism and reflexes that might well be considered unmatched. He proved that in the Everton match. Ferguson's investment is paying dividends. He still needs work, but he's damn good at what he does. Keep going De Gea. Muy bueno!
