Who Should I Keep In My Ffb League

Who should I keep!? GURLEY OR BROWN?

Tough choice, but I like Gurley better because stud bell cow RBs are so rare.Great WRs are much more plentiful,& they do not share playing time as much as RBs..

Example:You drop Gurley,& get Eddy Lacy.Eddy Lacy shares a lot of carries with other RBs on his team. But,if you drop Brown,& get AJ Green you don't lose many touches, not nearly as many as going from Gurley to Lacy.

It's all about touches.I think Gurley will be the main RB on his team,& there wont be a committee of RBs.You can count the number of bell cow RBs on 1 hand.AP,Leveon Bell,& I'm already struggling to come up with more.I am pretty sure we'll be able to put Gurley in that group next season. They are the tier 1 elite RBs,& then there is a huge drop off to the tier 2 RBs.

There is hardly any drop off from the tier 1 WRs to the tier 2 WRs.

Fantasy football newcomer in a keeper league?

Nothing.

Even thought I would love to say that giving him something would be a great respect to him, he gets the team he gets. Now if it happens to be completely horrible, then the first pick in the draft might be nice, or something along those lines to help him out.

Maybe each player on each team drops a person and he gets to pick them up. Nobody extremely good...Like LT, but nobody extremely bad, like the entire Raiders offense. A Kevin Curtis type of player. A middle of the road guy.

Other than that, I wouldn't give him anything. He knows what he is going to get himself into.

Good luck!!

In fantasy football keeper league, can you only keep players you drafted?

Like suppose you pick up players on the waiver wire or through trades, are they eligible to keep? I was told that if you have Adrain Peterson and draft him in the first round, if you chose to keep him the following year you will lose your first round pick. If this is true how would it work for players you pick up from the waiver wire or trades?

10 or 12 team fantasy football league?

I'm in a 10-team fantasy football league that is voting on moving to a 12-team league. For the most part our scoring is relatively standard.

The main thing I like about 10 is that you can have a little bit of depth - 1 injury doesn't necessarily put you out of the running. Plus our existing 10 owners are a pretty good group. But - the added challenge of 12-teams is interesting, too. What do you think?

Im transferring my cbs fantasy football keeper league to yahoo. How do I set the draft and our keepers?

Just go into commish tools and look through your options. You can manually set the draft order once everyone is on board - there's an option for that. And then you manually enter the keepers.

Also, if you haven't set the league up yet, there may even be a way you can transfer settings from another platform. You'll see this option when you're setting up the league. If not, it doesn't take time to enter manually, but I'm pretty sure I saw it setting up my own leagues.

Yahoo is very user friendly when it comes to the commish tools.

How do u clinch a playoff spot in my fantasy football league?

To prove a mathematical clinching you take your worst case scenario and the #5 player's best case scenario. If you lost your last 3 games you would be 8-6. If he won his last 3 games he would be 9-5. Once it is true that even if you lost out and all the wrong teams won out you would still be in at least 4th place then you have clinched.

Really though that isnt much more than an academic exercise. You are in a good position and if you have the kind of team that puts up massive points then you will keep winning and make the playoffs.

Can you have an odd number of teams in fantasy football league?

Luck.Or try to get Todd Gurley, Antonio Brown, and Tom Brady.Best Uniforms in Football here- you’ll like this oneDraft well and smart. Watch out for good weekly waiver options and keep updating your team. Good luck !…This answer sums it up for me.Disclaimer: While I do enjoy playing fantasy I mostly don’t know anything about the actual sport or the teams. I go full on Money Ball just making my picks based on the stats and win from players who use their ‘gut’ fairly solidly. If you haven’t seen it already playing with something like this is pretty solid DFS Lineup Optimizer for DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy SportsThat’s not to say everyone likes it though. I mostly play with strangers for prize pools but I have a smaller league with friends mostly just for fun and they complain about my strategy because they think it takes the fun out of it.

What are some tips for running a fantasy football league at work?

Below are some tips from being a commissioner of a work fantasy football league at 3 or 4 companies.Figure out how many people are interested. This number will dictate how the league is run or even how many leagues.Open it up to everybody. It really frustrates me when a league is solely bro fantasy sports dorks (and yes, I am squarely in this demographic). Fantasy sports is not that hard and really doesn’t take that much time. The computer can auto-draft for you, spend 5 minutes a week updating your lineup, and if you get lucky you can win. Encourage anybody with a slight interest to play.Start an email chain or group Slack channel for some trash talking. All the apps or sites, have a section for posting but using the standard communication method at work increases the connection and visibility.Write a post quarterly about the successes and even better the failures. Yes, it does take times but keeps people interested.Set the league up so that the majority of people make the playoffs. It really is a bummer to start out 0-3 and the chances of making the playoffs is very low. But if 8/12 teams make the playoffs, then an 0-3 start is just a speed bump.Play for money. Fantasy sports is not gambling. It is a game of skill as defined by the carve out of the Unlawful Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006. So, I say again, play for money. It is just more fun when you have some dollars on the line. But also, just as important, do not make it too rich. The sweet spot is enough to keep your interest but not enough to hurt anybody financially.Collect the money by Week 2. This is the most important part of being a commissioner. Gently remind people. Send emails. Casually mention it as you are walking by. And if all those don’t work, make a deadline. If you do not pay by this time I will lock your team. The work dynamic makes this a little more difficult. It might be tough for the junior accountant to collect money from the CEO but if you can’t do it, you are not fit to be a commissioner.Set the pay out and post it publicly after all money is collected.Pay out promptly at the close of the season. No mid-season payouts. No I will pay you in 2 weeks after I go to the bank. Pay out promptly when the fantasy season ends.Oh, almost forgot. Have fun.
